Faulty head
I agree with the other reviews. The head clogs and can’t be cleaned so water pressure is down to nothing. Disappointing from Delta

Same problem. The sprayer head clogs very quickly
I haven't purchased a replacement yet, but have cleaned it twice and had a plumber check it out. It is now ready for another vinegar soak. I purchased the faucet in November 2021.

Beautiful faucet. Faulty head.
For how much this faucet cost I would expect that the wand would last longer than it has. Needs cleaning w vinegar constantly or there is no water pressure. Without the wand connected its full pressure with it’s very low barely can switch to the sprayer. The replacement head cost is pretty high for a part that will likely do the same thing.

Bad Flow Rate - slows to a trickle
Same problem as everyone else. This faucet head slows to a trickle within one year. I repeated soak in white vinegar/water solution as Delta technical support advised. It helps for about a day but then slows to a tricle again. Delta needs to fix this!

Questionable faucet head
Same as previous reviewers , great faucet, head jsut without notice slowed to a trickle despite to/ and softener systems in place. Very bummed. Replaced an old delta that while dated, outlived this faucet head.

Replacement purchase
I purchased this because the wand on ours plugged to a trickle. Cleaning it, changing the softener filter, vinegar soaking...nothing worked. So, I hope the replacement lasts longer than the original. I installed the faucet just over a year ago. Fingers crossed. I like Delta products so hoping this works.

Will this wand be compatible with a 980T-AR-DST?

Thank you for your question. The RP90840AR sprayer assembly works for the Delta 9181T-AR-DST faucet. The correct sprayer assembly for the Delta 980T-AR-DST is RP53210AR. Here is a link to this part:

Yes, this wand is currently available for orders in four finishes. As a made-to-order company, we do not keep a large stock of parts or faucets. You can purchase Delta Faucet products at many local dealers and internet sites. If a dealer does not carry a specific item in stock, they should still be able to place an order for you. I have model 9159TV-BL-DST can I upgrade the sprayer to Shield Spray? I’m a wheelchair user with weak hands and can not pull mine down but the Shield Spray has that bell shape and I’ve tried it and have no issues

My faucet head has no pressure and it is difficult to use. It has a lifetime warranty so I would like a replacement hose and head. Can you get that started.
