Hi Tine, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! This retainer can be removed by first pulling the spout off the body of the faucet. Next. simply remove the old retainer out by prying it up and out with a flathead screwdriver. Install the new retainer and you're good to go! Please reach out with further questions!
