do not buy
bought this set for a bathroom redo. First one came broken parts and missing pieces. Replacement one is not working right. I am definitely looking for a different set. Have to pay for it to be removed and replaced again

I need a valve extension kit because my tile and drywall is too thick. can you tell me the model number of the kit I need?

Our 144747-I is available in Chrome, Venetian Bronze, Champagne Bronze, and Spotshield Stainless. The closest finish to Brushed Nickel is our Spotshield Stainless.

What is the model # of the valve that comes with this trim set? Also, is it possible to get a two-handle control rather than the one-handle?

This model utilizes the R10000-UN rough-in valve. Unfortunately this model is only available in the single handle 14 Series version.

144747-RB-I can this model be installed without going back to studs and replacing valve? Looking to renovate existing tiled shower. If yes is there a version that doesn't include valve, if no is there something else that is more renovation friendly?

Yes, you can install the trim only if you have a 1400 series valve installed. Please note that if you do have an older 1400 series valve and cartridge, the cartridge included with the new trim will not fit the old valve. We have many tub/shower trims that do not include the valve body, however, this model includes the valve and does not have an option without it.
