Watch out for chrome mismatch
I have three of these in my bathroom, in chrome. Design is really nice. But the metal color of the bar and the flange cover are a different color than the protruding arm that holds the bar. Hard to see in the photo, but it still bugs me.

Decorative and sturdy
This useful grab bar looks like a beautiful towel bar but is very secure and sturdy. It has saved me several times as I have slipped in my shower and caught myself with the grab bar.

Looks upscale!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does NOT look like a grab bar! It looks like a stylish, upscale towel bar, but it is really a sturdy grab bar. I like having the safety of a grab bar without advertising that my bathroom is retro-fitted for aging adult safety. I plan to buy more of these. So glad they come in multiple lengths. Very attractive! (I did not get these free but the survey below won't correct the "yes")

Works Great. Easy to Install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We laid out the backing properly for this before tile. Then drilled in properly with the correct anchors in the right spots. This looks awesome and matches the rest of the finishes. If you can drill through tile you can install this. EASY. And the finish is top notch. Installed proper backing is everything to make this last for years to come so it won't pull out.

an essential bathroom fixture!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I renovate bathrooms for a living. I always recommend grab bars. I have put in 6 of the Delta bars with the concealed mounting in the last 3 bathrooms for my clients. They are easy to install, (I always put backer in the walls for security), and they look great. No screws showing and the finish cleans up easily with no water spots. Sometimes just a safety bar will transform a bathroom for an older client! We can't all get over that tub lip like we used to and slipping or falling is really a bad idea. .

Want to do the whole bathroom remodel in Champagne Bronze (it's why I'm considering Delta for the remodel) and you have shower fixtures in it. Can this be used a Slide bar for a hand held shower? If so why not standard option? CZ Finish not tough enough?
Thank you for your question, Karen! A grab bar is not designed to be used as a slide bar however the U6300 hand shower holder is made to fit a 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" (32 mm) round slide bar which is the same dimension as this grab bar. Can this grab bar in chrome be installed inside a shower?

Can this be installed in a tile shower?
Hello Andrea,
Thank you for your question regarding the Delta 24" Traditional Decorative ADA Grab Bar and I am happy to assist you today.
The finish of the grab bar will be durable enough to be installed in a shower, however it would be best to install the bar with water proof screws to ensure they will not rust over time. Also, you will need to ensure each side of the grab bar are attached to studs to make certain the bar will be ADA compliant or you will need to use a wall anchor. If you are installing this model in a finished shower, you will need to use a stud-finder to locate the studs you wish to attach the bar to.

Shower door installation?
Can this be installed on a glass shower door as a handle/towel bar?
No, this is a Grab Bar and at least one end of this bar need to be install into a stub. Most shower door mounting holes are pre-drilled.

Is this bar totally smooth or does it have an anti-slip section in the middle of the bar?
