Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lemon of a Faucet SO disappointed in this product! Looks great. But, has broken 2X in less than two years. When I call Delta Warranty they bully, speak down to me and won't replace this pandemic, lemon of a faucet. Plumbers highly recommend Delta. My Delta kitchen faucet is fantastic. But this faucet is a hot mess. Delta warranty rep even said that customers are required to flush the lines every six months to maintain the warranty. What in the world? I should be able to buy a faucet and not have to perform biannual maintenance. My last faucet (not Delta) lasted 18 years and never leaked. I only replaced it because it looked old and worn out. I was ready to pull the trigger on a new Delta faucet for my half bath. But, after the way that Delta has treated me with this pandemic, lemon faucet, I'm asking my plumber to recommend another brand. I even asked Delta for a discount on a new replacement and they refused!

I am having the plumber return to rotate the handle to the left, which is not intuitive, but I discovered that I use a bathroom sink while holding something in my right hand and want to control the water from the left.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet, strange flow Bought 3 of these and one had a really restricted flow. Fergusons accepted the return and the we bought another faucet and it works like the other 2 now. It could be the California restrictions, but the water doesn't seem aerated like we're used to. The flow is supposed to be 1.2 gpm, but I wonder if we got the 0.5 gpm aerator in the units. All of the piping in the faucet is very small diameter so the aerator can get clogged pretty easily. Don't lose the tool that removes the aerator because you can't get it out any other way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look for bathroom I purchased a pair of these faucets for a bathroom remodel. Loved the clean look and simple lines. Unfortunately the plumber installed them with handle on left hand side which would then make lever push back towards wall for hot water. I had him come back and turn it around. It is a nice solid faucet. When I use it and turn it off the pex piping that came attached sounds like it vibrates or shakes as there is a noise and not a smooth turn off of water with the handle. Hoping that will resolve itself with continued use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Noisy Faucets - Flawed Design I purchased 4 of these faucets for 2 different bathroom remodels (two black, two champagne bronze). 2 of them were ridiculously noisy when operating. I am not being picky here, the noise is unbearable. I approached Delta to find a solution, and to their credit they sent replacement cartridges (did not fix the problem) and 2 new faucets (they had the same issue!). I invested a lot of time into troubleshooting (new cartridges, replacement faucets, swapped faucets and water supply lines, flushing, decreasing supply line pressure, etc.) and there is no solution. Eventually we narrowed the noise down to the discharge line/puck area. I believe it is water cavitation in that area. Unfortunately, this seems to be a ubiquitous issue with these faucets and one that really detracts from their function. After a lot of persistence on my part, Delta customer service tried to help, but they have a flawed product that cannot be addressed with customer service-based solutions. As nice looking as these faucets are, I cannot recommend them because this is a huge problem. I really wish Delta would acknowledge this problem and offer a solution (new puck/discharge line may work).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed with ugly black gasket Delta should provide a clear gasket so this won't look so ugly when installed with anything other than black. We installed it without the gasket because it ruined the look. The plumber said we may have more maintenance issues installing without the gasket. The plumber suggested asking Delta for a clear gasket, but I don't see one offered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Three of four have leaked We had two of these faucets installed in our bathroom in 2018. One of them developed a slow leak that dripped out the body of the faucet from underneath in early 2021. Delta provided a replacement and we paid a couple hundred dollars to have it installed. In early 2022, the other faucet developed the same leak and damaged an area of hardwood floor in the adjacent room. Delta again provided a replacement faucet and we paid for the rest. Then a few months later the first replaced faucet developed the same slow leak. This time Delta says they won't replace it without a video of the leak. It's literally a drip every few minutes. Not practical to video, but if we leave the water lines on to the faucet, it will continuously leak water under the sink and destroy our house. Not only would I not recommend this specific faucet, but I wouldn't recommend any Delta product. The faucets leak and the company doesn't stand behind their products.

Can this faucet be reversed with the lever on the left side?

Our vessel sink fits a 1-5/8” drain. Will the included drain work? If not is there an alternative drain that would work?

Thank you for your question, Rose1! The threaded portion of the flange is 1 3/8" and the top surface diameter is 2 1/8". This assembly should work with a 1 1/2" diameter drain. I have this and bought the Delta Trinsic kitchen faucet to complement it, but it seems like the two have opposite functionally where this one moves UP for hot and the kitchen faucet moves DOWN for hot. Is this correct?

As a follow up to my earlier response to this question, I would like to suggest to Delta Faucet that they produce a retrofit kit for the kitchen faucet whereby a new handle is provided with the red/blue dot markings are reversed. Then the water supply lines can be crossed and the faucet will work the same as the bathroom faucet. Not sure why the faucets weren't designed alike for consistency.

Help! i need to buy a aerating filter tip for this faucet. (No threads to screw a filter tip into!) This aerator would improve the use of this faucet completely in my bathroom. otherwise I love it. thanks xox carol dwyer

What materials (inc specifics on "metal" is the trinsic (chrome) faucet made of. I'd like each part detailed. Is there any plastic used in this faucet?Matching shower and bath trim kit is mostly plastic? How can tub spout be plastic and durable?

Hi Anonymous3600, Thank you for your question. Our faucets are made of several materials, and may depend on which model they are asking about. For example, the 559HA-DST's metal components: The top cap is bronze or 36000 brass, the bonnet nut is 36000 brass, the undercover plate is either stainless steel or 260 brass,the escutcheon is zinc. We can't provide that level of detail every time. And specific amounts are considered proprietary (trade secret). But in general, the faucet may contain: Bronze Brass (36000, 260) (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings) Zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle) Stainless Steel (undercover plate, seat liner, set screw) Copper (tubing) PEX-C (puck and tubing) Silicone (gaskets) Synthetic rubber - EDPM, Santoprene (hoses) Vinyl (hoses) Nylon Plastics Best regards, Tanya
