Also, he couldn't lock the pop-up assembly in what he called the second position (as I remember), the position in which I could close the drain cover tightly without having to push it down with my fingers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Nice Bathroom Sink Faucet Pros: Very nice external appearance and finish. Cons: Temperature control seems to be restricted to a very narrow range about a centered handle and is, therefore, fairly sensitive. Flow control is also fairly sensitive. Turning water ON results in a noise (splurt?) about half the time. Sometimes, just adjusting the flow results in the splurt sound. I will be discussing this noise with Delta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations I ordered online to replace my 40 year old faucet. Have had Delta before, liked what I read and saw so I ordered it. I am a 62 year old woman and did the installation myself. This faucet looks great, minimal water spotting and easy to wipe off. The handle moves easily and smoothly. Water flow was better than I expected for a water-saver. I like it so much that I plan to order another to replace the faucet in my other bathroom (just as soon as I recover from working upside-down under a vanity).

Hello Josie1, Thank you for your question. The Delta Classic C-Spout Lavatory 583LF-WF faucet body is cast brass. what is the functional difference between the 583LF-SSWF and the same model characterized as C-Spout, they look identical but the C-spout is about 50% more than the base model#

Flex Hoses about 1-1/2" too short...

I come up a couple inches short of being able to connect the flex hoses to the valves coming out of the wall. In another similar question posed by another customer you mentioned that this faucet only comes with one-size hoses and you said longer hoses are available at hardware stores. However, I don't see a way of removing Delta's hoses from the faucet to install longer, store-bought ones. Is there a threaded connection within the faucet that we can easily disconnect and replace, or are we left to find some type of extension hose?

Hello Paul, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, the supply lines that come with the faucet cannot be removed. They are 3/8th compression fitting. You should be able to find hoses you can attach from your shut off valves to connect to the hoses on the faucet. I hope this helps!

How tall is the classic single hand faucet?

Do you have longer water lines for the 583LF-WF?

Need a 20" and 24" approximate length hoses.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 583LF-WF does not have extended water lines offered with this model. You can purchase supply lines that are longer from your local wholesaler or retailer.

What is the difference between Model 520 and Model 583?

Hi, Cindy57! Thank you for your question. The Delta 520LF-WFMPU and the 583LF-WF have a different handle style. Also, the 583LF-WF can be installed as a 1 or 3-hole 4" installation while the 520LF-WFMPU faucet is only a 3-hole 4" installation. Best Regards, Rosanna
