Missing part
I was so excited to receive this shower steamer and couldn’t wait to set it up. I have bad back pain so I really was looking forward to relaxing in a steam shower. I was missing a small white connector piece. I did find it at Home Depot but I was aggravated because I had to waist time to go to store then had to come home and finish. Works good. A little noise but not too bad.

When building our forever home, adding a steam generator was always been on my wishlist. We use mostly delta faucets and luckily they also have the Simplesteam generator. I was worried about installing a steamer due to reliability, but Delta has a limited lifetime warranty to ease my mind. The steamer is a game-changer for your shower experience. It produces a consistent flow of high-quality steam, providing a spa-like atmosphere and deep cleansing experience. The user-friendly design makes it easy to operate and maintain. Highly recommended for a relaxing and refreshing shower!

Luxury shower while at home
I recently how this steam shower kit installed and it does not disappoint. The installation seemed straightforward and easy, but I opted to take the safe route with a professional. Using this steam shower I have noticed my sinuses being much clearer especially in this dry winter weather. I also have noticed feeling more relaxed after using it as well. This has definitely spoiled me with my showers!

Could never show again without steam!
Cannot describe how much I love this steam unit. I built a large custom shower in my master bath and incorporated the steam unit into the design. I went for the whole "total sense" package so we have steam, lights, aroma and sound. It's been in daily use ever since I set it up and both my wife and I are hooked. Although I do occasionally use my shower as a steam room, (I have fold-down teak benches mounted to the shower wall) The real value and luxury to me is in the typical daily shower. No more feeling cold when you are not directly under the shower head water flow. You simply turn off the water and lather up in a warm steamy heaven. I can't imagine what it's like to shower without steam anymore.

SimpleSteam Kit 10kW. The plumber wants to install it under wife's vanity punch a hole thru the wall run the steam pipe up the wall into & across the attic into the MB down the MB wall & into the MB. Toal pipe ft = 40 with 4 right angles. Will this work?

For optimum performance, we recommend keeping the steam pipe run under 25'.

How does this system do with well water?
It depends on how often the product is used, if there is an autodrain option installed and on the quality of incoming water from the well.

Hello - What is the rated energy efficiency of you 10kW electric steam generation unit?
In general, electric heat is nearly 100% efficient.

The controller overestimates the temperature inside the shower and turns off. The controller was installed away from the heating unit. Also getting both an E1 error code and E3 error code. Does this mean I need to replace the controller?
This has to be troubleshot further, please contact the tech support team at steam-product@deltafaucet.com or 800-394-6478. Questions will be, did this issue occur when it was first installed? Where is the control mounted in correlation to the steam outlet?

What is the maximum distance the steam generator can be located from the shower? Does it have to be a straight connection or can the piping from the steam generator to shower run down through floor structure and up into the wall cavity?
Hi SAVPE,
THe steam unit can be installed up to 50 feet away. You cannot run the steam line in a way that will cause a trap or valley. You can run the pipe up the wall across the ceiling and back down the wall. Once you run the steam line down it cannot be ran back up.

On the 5P-EST10 can the heating element be replaced without replacing the tank too?

The Simple Steam 10KW has a sealed tank and element assembly and does not have a removable heating element. To replace the heating elements on this unit would require the whole tank assembly to be replaced.
