Hi. I need a 22" rod. Is the rod part of the towel bar able to be removed so it can be cut down?

The towel bar 759240-CZ can be cut to fit however please be advised that once cut, Delta Faucet Company will not warranty the product for any complications or issue related to the cutting of the tube so please be sure the cut is straight and free of burrs. What is the diameter of the circle base to the towel bars and hooks?

The diameter of the circular posts are 2-1/4" in diameter, the diameter of the towel bar itself is 5/8" and the distance between the mounting brackets is 25". Delta Trinsic towel bar

Is there the availability of an 18" towel bar. If not, can the 24" bar be cut down to accomodate an 18" size?

What is the difference between the Trinsic 24" towel bar and the Lyndall 24" towel bar sold at Home Depot? They look the same, I'm trying to figure out if there's a difference to justify the much higher cost of the Trinsic collection.
