Can the linden towel bars be cut down to a specific length?

We will purchase a Linden 18" towel bar but need to cut it down to 12" is the bar trimmable?

Dear NT Allison, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Delta Linden 18" or 24"Towel Bars can be cut for preferred installation. However, FOR ANY BAR THAT IS CUT DOWN, DELTA FAUCET COMPANY WILL NOT WARRANTY THE PRODUCT FOR ANY COMPLICATIONS OR ISSUES RELATED TO THE CUTTING OF THE TUBE. Best regards, Tanya

Help me move this towel bar please!

I recently bought a house that has this towel bar in the bathroom. The previous owners did not leave the allen wrench it came with. I want to move the bar from one location to another, but cannot get it off the wall to do so. Can I get a compatable allen wrench or tell me what universal tool I might already have that will work for this? Thanks!

What are the Product Dimensions

I need to know what the diameter of the mounting base is? I have to cover some existing holes in the wall and need a base that is at least 2.5inches.

Can the towel bar be hung in a shower? Will the finish hold up in a wet location such as this?

Hello Mary, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Our towel bars are able to be installed in the shower, however we do recommend cleaning and care. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. What size hex wrench do I need to tighten the 24 inch Linden Towel bar?
