This shower base can be installed in a corner with glass sides and solid walls as long as the walls and sub-floor are solid, plumb, and square. Our 48" by 34" bases are only available with center drains. Left side drains are available for bases of other sizes. If the subfloor is not flat and level a mortar bed must be used. Hello Jimmy, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta B78615-4834-WH shower base can be installed directly to the subfloor if the subfloor is flat and level. Foam packaging not attached to the shower base can be discarded. Use cardboard or other material when securing the flange to protect the surface.
