If the diverter stops working (fails to stay upright), does the whole faucet need to be replaced or can I just replace the actual diverter? If the diverter can replaced, what is the part number?

My Dryden Tub Spout will not stop dripping water. I had a plumber look at the issue and seemed to solve. Is there recommendations for me to consider? Do I buy a new one or is there a way to fix the leak?

Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that flushing the product could resolve this issue. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If you would like installation help, you may contact our residential warranty line directly at 800-345-3358 (prompt 2, then 4). We are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. We also have how-to videos on our website and on our YouTube channel. https://www.deltafaucet.com/service-parts/how-to-videos If that doesn't resolve the issue a new spout would need to be ordered. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Kelley Digital Communications Specialist
