I ordered anew faucet  RP19895.  It arrived but my old faucet has a lasting insert inside which provides threads for it to screw on closers to the wall?  Is there a different part I need or do I need to try to pull the insert out of the old faucet piece?

Asked by: GoldyTLC
Hello, GoldyTLC. Thank you for your question! Based on your description, the original spout used the RP12307 adapter. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP12307 To install the RP19895 Tub Spout, the pipe would need to be replaced with a longer threaded pipe nipple. We still make spouts that use the RP12307 Adapter such as the RP5834. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/RP5834 Best regards, Jon

Looking for a RP7533 replacement

Is this part compatible? Since the RP7533 is obsolete, I am looking for a part with the same threads and same diameter at the back (about 3 inches) so it covers the hole in our tiles
Asked by: Chris
Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. The RP5834 tub spout is the thread on version and the RP19820 is the slip on version of the RP7533 spout. http://www.deltafaucet.ca/bath/details/rp5834.html?showPhotoGallery=false Thanks, Dave

Asked by: Bill
Hello Bill, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. The pull up diverter can not be replaced separately, if that is broken or damaged the whole tub spout would need replaced. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance.  Best Regards,  Nicole

Does the Delta RP19895 chrome tub spout have a set screw or does it just unscrew off of 1/2" copper tube. It has an access (or drain) hole on the bottom near the tub wall. All I can feel with my finger is the smooth 1/2" tube.
