RESEÑAS
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not heavy duty but works well so far This is not very heavy duty (feels "plasticy" as opposed to metal) and is longer than it appears in the photo. You also have to solder a part on the pipe that comes out of your wall in order to mount this (i.e. it doesn't just slide or screw on without first doing that). It does look nice though and what I like most is that when I pull the stopper up to activate the shower it completely cuts off water flowing from the spout. Prior lower quality bathtub spouts I've used would always allow some amount of water to run even when the shower was on. I haven't had this very long though. Hopefully it continues to work as well as it has so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made, inner plastic collar cracked Cheaply made, plastic cracked , Causing it to leak behind behind the wall. The parts are already expensive but then to spend another $1500 repairing the room underneath really questions the way products are made these days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not well made ! I went to clean the faucet with a cloth and it fell apart. After reading the reviews, I can understand why !! BUT I called customer service and they couldnt have been nicer and more profesional. They are sending me out a new one asap !! Kind of makes me feel better about the quality issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic and durability issues! There seems to be a real durability issue with the Delta plastic tub spouts. I won't be buying another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect replacement on original [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider my self luck to find this item instead of having to buy the whole faucet kit . On examination it is better than the original . Excellent product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What should be metal is now Cheap Plastic! I completely gutted my hall bath, new tile on the floor and shower, custom built vanity with a matching tower top. Quartz counter top and a set of beautiful Venetian bronze sink facets Victorian style, which is made out of metal. I ordered the tub fixtures to match the Venetian Bronze Victorian sink facets and all the fixtures for the tub from shower head to tub spout are made out of plastic. It LOOKS plastic. My sink faucets are metal but the tub trim is all plastic.. That makes no sense. I was extremely disappointed as it brings down the entire look of the remodel job. It cheapens the entire look. You go to all this trouble to rebuild from scratch only to have the last pieces of the puzzle ruin the look. Its like putting hub caps on a Corvette. I even called and the rep I spoke to indicated it stated non-metallic on their web-site. I asked where as I couldn't find that info. She indicated it was in the Q & A section. Why would I look in the Q & A section if I didn't have a question. It should have been in the specifications section. DELTA seems to have gone the way of many companies, product quality down to drive profits up..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very cheap and costs too much to repair. Not happy with this product. Broke very easily after little use and isn't cheap to replace. Definitely a design flaw with the plastic in the interior. By most other reviews on other sites it seems to be a common problem. I hope delta has addressed this problem with the next one I ordered off amazon. Unfortunately I don't have the warranty info with me so I am forced to spend more. If it breaks again I will be replacing with another entirely new faucet as this poorly made piece costs too much to repair repeatedly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product over-engineered and over-designed Spout should be simple and use real chrome plated brass vice lightweight (plastic?) Too many parts. Internal plastic sleeve cracked on my original spout causing water to shoot out of rear. I still love Delta products best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First one broke. I had to buy a second faucet because the plastic piece inside the first one broke, and I was the second owner of the home, so warranty transferred to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good replacement I purchased this a month ago after the insert on my original faucet broke. I couldn't find just the insert, so went ahead and ordered this one. It is similar to the original bronze faucet but is PLASTIC. Looks and works great (although I would have preferred a metal one).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great, Works great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago to replace a faucet with a "leaky" diverter. My shower pressure is now noticeably better. I had the faucet professionally installed so I can't comment on the ease of installation. I can say that it works great and looks great! Very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was needing. I have this whole set in my master bathroom. The older version the tab to turn the shower on was made of plastic and broke. I found this exact replacement, but they improved how that mechanism works. Much better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine Purchased on of the few tub spouts in champagne gold. A bit oversize for the shower fixture but works OK with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fast fix After several years, the plastic inside this faucet suddenly broke off, and we had no faucet. Without the faucet, there was no way to divert water to the shower head. Fortunately, the part arrived very fast, and our family only had to go two days without a shower. My husband was able to install the new one in minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very simple installation ordered online once I found out what the part was from the Delta website. Delivered in two days and installed in 3 minutes. Great company and great service.

Is there a similar spout that is metal and not plastic. I need the rubbed oil bronze color.

Asked by: Peggy
Hi, Peggy. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have similar Traditional-Style tub spout assemblies in the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish that are metallic. We do have the RP81273OB, RP61357OB, and RP64721OB tub spouts that are Oil Rubbed Bronze. Best Regards, Rosanna

I broke the plastic part that holds the chromed end onto my RP34357 (too aggressive w/ cleaning). Now the diverter doesn't close completely and sprays when diverted for shower use.  Can I replace just the plastic connection parts? Have photo if needed.

Asked by: BenW
Thank you for your question, BenW! The diverter is not a separate repair part unfortunately and new tub spout will be needed. Best regards, Edward

My shower/bath diverter has become ineffective. RP34357

can I just install a spout with the pull up diverter by screwing off the old broken spout and screwing the new one onto the existing threaded copper pipe. Or is some actual plumbing skill needed. When the diverter is pulled up, only about 25% of the flow is diverted to the shower.
Asked by: Bruce
Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question. The RP34357 tub spout threads directly onto a 1/2" threaded pipe or fitting at the back of the spout. You should be able to unscrew the spout and replace. Thanks, Dave

Can I get installation instructions for this tub spout, please

I have this spout, and during a remodel the outer (chrome) part of the spout was taken off, leaving the plastic inner spout connected, coming through the tub wall. Now, I cannot figure how to reconnect the outer spout. I lost the installation instructions during the remodel, can you provide them?
Asked by: Rod
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP34357 can either be sweat onto a copper pipe or threaded onto an iron pipe. Included here is a link to the instructions for installing your tub spout. The instructions are on page 12 of the booklet. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t17455.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper

Does this spout have a flow restrictor in it? Customer is complaining about flow rate at tub spout is slow

Asked by: Billy
Dear Billy, Thank you for your question. At 60 PSI, the RP34357 Victorian tub faucet will run at 5.6 gallons per minute. This spout does not have a flow restrictor in it. We would advised flushing the unit, if your getting a low or slow flow. Best regards, Tanya

will go onto a 1" connector..the previous one was 1" and was connected behind the wall so in order to change it to the universal size I would need to take the wall out which I don't want to do so I need a tub spout that connects to 1" connector..thanks

Asked by: casey
Hi, Casey! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not make 1" tub spout connections. All of our tub spouts are 1/2". I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Best Regards, Rosanna
