Rated 2 out of 5 by from This spout feels light and cheap. This spout is very ugly. It is huge. The proportions of the this spout are unattractive. It has a huge base and and does not taper to match the base. It is generally ugly....almost gross!.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spout Length Wrong Just received this, and gave it to my plumber for installation (still in box). When I went in to check his work, I noticed it was not clearing the overflow drain and edge of tub. It is only 7" long. I hope I can do something to return it. I can't use it and going to have to order a longer one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Description of Length is Wrong I needed a longer-than-normal spout and ordered this one specifically because of the description as being 7-9/10" long. I just received it and it is only 7" long. It is in a box marked with Part No. RP36498, so I assume the correct one was sent, but the product description is wrong.

IF I HAVE RP5833 TUB SPOUT AND I WANT A LONGER SPOUT, WHAT WOULD I GET ? JUST WANT TO UNSCREW THE RP 5833 AND REPLACE IT WITH ONE THAT IS LONGER. I DO NOT WANT TO REWORK WHAT IS COMING FROM THE TUB NOW.

The product I have has a metal screen which has rusted, I can remove and reinstall this screen but would like to replace it. Can you provide me with the part number for the screen?

The openings of the stream shaper are large enough for any debris to get through, so it should not need to be removed. Is the screen in the spout outlet removable? If so, how do I remove it?

The spout I am replacing screws on. It is not slip-on. Is this spout compatible?

Hi S.K.Y., Thank you for your question. The RP36498 is also a slip on spout, it does not thread on. Our thread on non-diverter tub spouts include the RP5833 and RP62149 that thread into the nose of the spout and the RP43165, and RP42574 that thread onto the RP12307 brass tub spout adapter.
