The lip on this plastic part that is supposed to lock with the neck and hold the assembly firmly on the deck is so thin, it will break when you install it. This should have been a metal part. For a product that costs so much, this is a cheap embarrassing solution.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage This piece would have been better designed by a blind child. It's a shame that they couldn't make this piece in brass. This piece is meant to go in a high traffic area next to the Main tub filler and it is always at the end, and this cheap plastic always breaks after a very short lifespan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke easily during installation I bought the rough-in kit, which this part is included for the hand shower, and during installation by my plumber this broke. He said it's not the first one and commented that Delta makes great stuff but this part is a piece of junk. He didn't have a spare, so now I need to order a replacement from Amazon - I ordered 2 just in case - and he'll need to come back. Really disappointing. We remodeled with all Delta and have no complaints about anything except this junky plastic part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta brand good, part bad I have held a master plumbing license in NC for over a decade. Delta is by far the most reliable faucet company in quality products and customer service. However, this part is disappointing. It easily breaks and should be a metal part like the rest of the clips. Customer service is still great, sending a free replacement part ASAP. Please upgrade this part DELTA FAUCET!

Does this come with the washers for the jack screws?

Outside Diameter

Could you tell me the outside diameter of the theads and the outside diameter of the shower holder where it comes through the trim ring? Thanks

Hi Beau, Thank you for your question. The thread pattern of the outside diameter of the RP40665 is 2-1/4"-20. The diameter of the hand shower hole is 1.2" Thanks, Dave

I need a replacement for a Hand Shower Nest - Roman Tub R-4700.  Can I order this direct from Delta.  One of the flanges broke while being installed by my plumber.  Apparently this is fairly common.

This part is damaged in the new kit and I cannot tighten the handheld guide/holder to the tub deck
