Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diverter Failed After 6 Months We had just finished completely rebuilding our 4-plex after Hurricane Ida & used this Delta tub spout with diverter in the bathrooms. 6 months later there were water marks on the ceiling downstairs as a result of the diverter failing. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this product AT ALL!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed We have been in our home for 2.5 years & have to simultaneously have to replace faucets in 2 of our bathrooms. Both have this series faucets. Both faucets the pull up diverted malfunctioned. Too costly to have this issue. Delta is a reputable company. I expected more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality for the cost This fixture was installed in our new house. After only a few years of use, the diverter came apart. I was okay to replace it but not for $130 plus dollars. I will search for a less expensive, better quality model to replace this unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply Made Diverter Spout Looks nice, but poor engineering. Installed this about 5 years ago in a guest bathroom. Has probably only been used 10 times max as a shower and about as many for bath...and already the diverter mechanism is broken. It is an expensive part but very cheaply made. I expect better from Delta. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only lasted 3 years We installed a new tub and shower faucet and spout 3 years ago. The diverter on the spout is stuck and wont work and the chrome finish is peeling. Very disappointed in this product.

I have a Leland series tub/shower set with a chrome finish. I would like to change the look to a brushed nickel finish. Do you have parts available to do this?

Thank you for your question, Steve! The RP42915 tub spout is available in our Stainless Steel finish, which is often referred to as "Brushed Nickel". I purchased shower package T17478-rb. The tub spout is plastic. The part no is x00061469rb Did I get the correct piece?

I have a Leland stainless bathtub unit only in another bathroom and the spout is metal. I purchased another Delta Leland product because I was happy with my first purchase. This plastic spout seems very cheap for a Delta product.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17478-RB does contain a non-metallic tub spout. We do not have the metal tub spout available separately but we do have other metal tub spouts available.

I’ve removed spout RP5834 and want to replace it with this spout. The brass adapter cannot be removed. Does this spout have the white plastic insert and if so, will it twist on over what appears to be the RP12307 adapter that is not able to be removed?

Hello DIYgrl, Thank you for your inquiry! This Leland Tub Spout RP42915RB does include the plastic insert with the RP12307 brass adapter assembly screwed in the middle. You can remove the adapter from the new spout and just screw the spout onto your already installed adapter/pipe. Best regards, Tanya

Need to know if this part includes the plastic adaptor?

Replacing existing spout. It has white plastic adaptor inside that is broken. Wall side of adaptor needs to fit outside of copper pipe with threads at 1+1/4". The spout end of adapter should fit into 1/2" threads (by pull up diverter).

I have a Leland  (RP42915) tub spout with a diverter.  The diverter is redundant as the wall valve control the flow to the shower.  I want to replace it with a similar chrome spout that will fit the wall adapter (RP 12307).
