Delta Rainhead
PRO: love the volume of water and style
CON: leaks around the top flange after 2 years, and this was a replacement from Delta after the first one leaked immediately. This causes the rain head to shoot water out the top/side.

Leaks all around the top flange - didn't even last a year
This is the worst shower head - looks beautiful but is very faulty. I have had the plumber in twice due to leaking. Plumber tells me that there is defect in the manufacturing of this shower head. It has a flange that goes around the entire top that faces ceiling - it leaks terribly and can't be used. Between the cost of this and the twice plumbing bills, this was a costly purchase. I used Delta products on two bathroom remodels and it is hit & miss with this company. This is a terrible waste of money. Don't buy. I am now looking at replacing it with another brand

It was great for 1 1/2 years!
It looks beautiful and feels wonderful only 1 1/2 years and it's broken from the connection! So expensive and now i have to buy another one.

Don't waste your money!

Very poor quality
My shower head is a year old and leaks at the seal on top of the head, as a lot of others have said. Water shoots straight up and hits the ceiling. Have used this shower head maybe 3 times. I would not recommend this product, very poor quality!

Shower head leaking like the others ....
We have had this shower head installed since June 2016 and love the design...but now it is leaking from the seam on the top just like all the others mentioned in these reviews. It is hard to believe that Delta, which makes such good products, would allow this kind of manufacturing flaw. We are very disappointed in this product, especially since we loved it so much at the beginning. no I would not recommend it to anyone.

DO NOT BUY THIS, there is a design malfunction and it leaks. DO NOT BUY.
Just as all others have stated, there is a design flaw with this product and you should not buy it. We have had the shower head under one year and it has been used less than 10 times, it leaks around the seams of the top of the shower head where there are 10 screws.

Leaks badly from the top. Poor construction.
Bought this showerhead as part of a complete bath remodel and we chose this one because it looked great in the showroom. It was not cheap and we thought we were getting a quality product, but after 6 months of use the showerhead began to leak very badly from the top. We are more than disappointed and will have to find a replacement. I assure you, we will be buying from a different company.

Looks great, but doesn't function well. Leaks all over.
I purchased a Vero 1-Handle Tub and Shower Faucet Trim Kit at Home Depot and after a couple of uses, shower head started to leak from everywhere. I was always very satisfied with Delta products and the quality was consistently superb until now. Other than that, design is very sleek and modern.

The product has starting leaking around the top of the fixture
This product Model RP 62955 is doing the same as most everyone else in the review, it's leaking around the top. I have had this product in our new bathroom for only 5 months and started noticing it the past two months. now I go to the reviews and see it has happened to several others. not sure I would replace it with another of the same models.

Delta Was Great but ....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shower head and within a few months it was leaking out the edges. Build.com replaced it and the same thing happened again. This time delta replaced it with a round rain forest shower head that has been fine.

Beautiful Product that leaks all over
Just like everyone else I have this leaking shower head. It leaks all along the edges on top of the shower head. Unfortunately I don't have a receipt because it was put in when the house was built. I'm hoping Delta will replace this on good faith or provide some type of replacement seal.

Terrible Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are on our second head, since it is still under warranty. This was is leaking out of the top seam even quicker than the first one. I am going to select another shower head, this one is flawed and it should not be sold anymore.

Same issue
We put this showerhead in as part of a renovation last fall. In about 6 months we noticed water leaking over the edge from above. We tried all kinds of things including making sure it was level and cleaning. Now I see that others have had the same problems and worse. We also had the problem of the jets skewing off in odd directions. I'd like to get some help with this. Delta support was very helpful when we picked out the dual controls which are working great. But this showerhead just isn't right.

This shower head is beautiful, but leaks from the back, just like many others have mentioned. I am very disappointed, as it was supposed to be part of the shower remodel design. It is unusable :(

Third times not a charm!
We had our bathroom remodeled and saw this shower head in the showroom when choosing fixtures. Within a short time we noticed leakage coming from the top. Contractor has replaced the original with two new units. Both have developed the same problem. The last one in about a months time. We paid for a quality product and it is far from quality. The contractor is going to reimburse us for the shower head and install a new one of our choice. Needless to say it will not be Delta.

Water is spraying everywhere....
Not to sound like a broken record, but I too am having the same issues as others are reporting - after just a few months of use, water is spraying everywhere - not just from the holes in the shower head, but from the seam on top of the shower head. We have only had the shower heads (we have 2 in our shower- one on the wall and one on the ceiling) since November 2015. Any assistance in getting the situation rectified would be appreciated. I

leaking showerheads....
I have been in my home since 3/31/2016. I have 2 of these heads in my shower. Within 3 weeks they both started leaking from the seal. My home builder's plumber ordered me 2 more. I installed those 6 weeks ago and now they are both leaking again. On a plus side it did go double the amount of time than the first set, but this is ridiculous. I have had more shower heads in my shower than mortgage payments made on my home.... something just isn't right there.

Same Problem as others (water spouting from top of head)
I installed this Delta shower package a little less than a year ago and since April 2016, I have had the same problem as others have mentioned. Seam on the top of the shower head has failed and causing water to spray everywhere.
I called Delta today and their customer service was great. They acknowledged the problem and they are quickly sending a replacement head free of charge.
For me, I REALLY appreciate their responsiveness and desire to help customers when there is a problem. Of course, I was disappointed with the product, but their customer service was quite good and I will continue to use Delta products based on their response.

Is the RP62955 made in the USA? I could not find it on the Delta Buy American Act compliant product list.

What is the minimum height of the shower head and down rod from the ceiling? We have a 7ft ceiling height.

We purchased this, and before finishing construction wonder if this works ok when used with an angled shower arm (e.g. RP6023). What i mean is, does the head move (while sitting on our workbench i cannot move the shower head around

I am concerned this shower head will not provide enough pressure to rinse out shampoo for female's head of hair. Please advise. The majority of rain heads do not; is this one different?
