Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a large selection of spouts with diverters Am not happy that Delta replacement products are “non-metallic”…plastic. The spout that matched my collection had a fake diverter, this was the closest in looks to that, that I could find. Very disappointed that Delta would want their reputation associated with plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not tight against wall I had a plumber install this today. It looks good and works well but the square edge against the wall does not fit straight. I will get some black caulk to try to make it less noticeable.

Preguntas y respuestas

Why is the ARA tub sprout made of plastic, whereas tub sprouts of other collections are metal?

Asked by: Frank73
Hi, Frank73! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP75435 Diverter Tub Spout assembly is non-metallic. This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. Please know that all of our products are tested to ensure long-lasting use and have a Lifetime Limited Warranty. Best Regards, Rosanna

I have to rough this in thursday. There is no rough in sheet as the customer had to order it. Is this like your genaric tub spouts leaving a 3" nipple exposed or 1/2' iron pipe thread exposed ? Thanks, Tom

Asked by: Tom Farley Plumbing
Thank you for your question, Tom! This tub spout uses the RP12307 adapter, which many of our other tub spouts use. This can sweat onto a 2"-4" copper pipe or thread onto a 5/8"-1 5/8" IPS nipple. Best regards, Jon

Does the drain cover come with the pull up diverted as well as the overflow drain?

Do I need to buy a separate drain cover and overflow drain cover for Model#: RP75435PN
Asked by: Christy
Hi, Christy, Thank you for your question. The drain assembly and overflow cover do not come with the tub spout. You would have to purchase them separately. The bath waste assembly would be RP293. Here is a link to this unit on our website: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/RP293 Best Regards, Rosanna

How is the RP75435 installed? Where can I find the instructions?

Asked by: Dave
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question! Below are the installation instructions for the RP75453 tub spout: Install a 1/2" threaded pipe nipple to extend beyond the finished wall 3/8" to 1/2". Apply plumber tape to thread on pipe nipple and screw brass adapter (1) securely onto nipple. Check position of set screw on bottom of spout (2) making sure it is not Sticking through to the inside opening where it could interfere with the assembly. Slide flange (3) carefully onto spout (4) keeping it near the back of the spout. Slide tub spout over the adapter. Push flange against wall and tighten set screw on bottom of spout against the adapter. Best regards, Brandis

Does this spout require silicone sealant to be applied around the escutcheon / wall or is it sealed in another way?

Asked by: Greg C
Thank you for your question, Greg C! The RP75435 diverting tub spout does not require silicone sealant. If installed correctly, the base of this spout should sit firmly against the finished wall. Sealant can be used if needed however. Best regards, Edward
