Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good Overall, I am happy with this trim kit, but there are a couple of things I wish were different. There is a lot of plastic that makes up the internal components, which worries me long term. The visible trim pieces are all metal, except for the handle that regulates the temp. That one is plastic. When installing, there is a gap between the temp handle and on/off handle that I wish was less noticeable. So far, it's all doing its job and looks nice from a distance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tub faucet flow rate is unacceptable Just had this installed with a new large tub. The flow flow rate to the tub is abysmal. I haven’t fully measured but it couldn’t be more than than 2.5gpm. Had the plumber come back to inspect and his response was everything is installed properly and that’s just how they make them now. All information I’ve found from Delta leads me to believe I should be getting at least 5gpm. What we’re getting is unacceptable for filling a tub. Looks like our only options now is to deal with it or attempt my own modification of the cartridge valve assembly to increase flow rate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks and works great. The water pressure from the tub faucet is lower than the previous faucet. I have no idea why...could be a problem with the valve and not these components. Other than that it looks and works great. Easier for my little kid to use since she doesn't need to adjust the temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality construction & easy to use I was looking for a quality dual function package since I really like to be able to independently control the water temperature and the water volume. The materials all have a quality feel (although the cover plates in the brushed stainless finish seem a bit more sturdy) to them. Time will tell how they hold up over the years, but the simple to use and easy to clean design is both functional and asthetic.

Are the tub spout, lever and back plate made of metal or non-metal?

Hello Ray, Thank you for your question! The T17459-LHD is a trim only ( less shower head). You will need to order a Universal rough in valve ( such as the R10000-UNBX) and your choice of shower head which is not included with the trim. Best regards, Brandis

Hi, Chris! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T17459-LHD Tub and Shower Faucet does work with the Delta 58680-25 HydroRain® H2Okinetic® 5-Setting Two-in-One Shower Head. This shower head will thread right onto the shower arm of the Monitor T17459-LHD Tub and Shower Faucet and nothing else is needed for this application. Best Regards, Rosanna

will this unit yield 2.5gpm when used with Delta® In2ition 2-in-One 4-Spray Hand Shower/Shower Head Model Number: 58467-SS ?

Hello barryw, Thank you for your question. Yes, the Delta In2ition 4-Setting 58467-SS model has a flow rate of 2.5 GPM at 80 PSI and installing the Trinsic Tub and Shower T17459-SSLHD would not affect this. Best regards, Tanya

It seems that the T17459-LHD (Monitor 17 Tub and Shower Trim Less Shower Head) doesn't come in RB (Venetian Bronze) -- what individual components would I need to order instead? (We'll be using the 58680-RB25 as the shower head.)

I bought these set already but I would also like to add a handheld shower separate from the head shower. Can I still use these set and buy additional parts to have 3 separate share positions or what other set can I buy ? Thank you

I recently had a Delta T17459-SSHLD installed in my bath tub. My water temperature is 140 degrees. The hot water in all of my faucets tests to that temperature except this one, the hottest it will run is 103 degrees. How do I increase the temperature

Hi I'd like this exact same kit but with a thermostatic cartridge. Does that kit exist? Same idea, will the one-size RP47201 thermostatic cartridge fit this kit? Thank you!
