Rated 2 out of 5 by from Diverter stripped I finally took the faucet apart as the diverter knob fell off right after we bought this and have been unable to use the wand for the hand shower. After getting everything taken apart and trying to screw the knob back on it was stripped. We were only able to use the wand one time. Can we get the part sent to us for the diverter? The brass fitting and the knob threads are both stripped and won’t screw together.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pivotal Roman tub with hand shower defective I am a plumbing contractor in business for 20 years delta has always been a quality product that we recommend highly for custom builds when we were building our own house we went with the pivotal series in our master bath due to the contemporary look we have had several issues with the pivotal series only on our Roman tub the plastic locks that hold trims to tub are cheap and break the diverter issue with the finial breaks and or constantly strips threads on diverter and or the finial itself I would not recommend this series at all delta did send a replacement upon on original install due to the spout being milled wrong and spraying water on wall area when in use but since then there warranty has been fulfilled since they sent me a new trim kit in full for the money we paid for this faucet I am very disappointed and will likely refrain from recommending the brand in the future and that speaks volumes as we sell typically 100k to 150k of there faucets yearly ours wasn’t purchased through this site but I just want the public to be aware it’s defective and to look elsewhere

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product The Delta bath faucet fit really well in our bath, I really love this faucet it has a beautiful color to it and love the sprayer on it it’s easy to use when just taking a bath alone, this faucet was easy to install, even my family loves this too, I will purchase this faucet for our other bathroom tub as well and I definitely recommend it to others as well to try

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous The design look and feel of this item is absolutely gorgeous, perfect! Very eloquent & sleek making the bathtub and the whole bathroom look beautiful. We’ve been working on finishing two bathrooms the last few months and this was the final piece to one. I have to be honest, this has been a little tricky but nothing that time and a lot of patience can’t handle! I’m still working on that. I would rather switch the handles to turn the other way but it would switch hot/cold. We may do that anyway, still seeing which way we want them. Those hiccups were expected with such a project, so I’m always prepared for that. The hand shower is the added touch that I love so much! The water just feels so soft and flowy, it’s truly wonderful! Overall it’s just what I wanted, feels and looks Amazing and I’d recommend it to an experienced handy person although it can be done if you do have knowledge about it like myself. I just recommend that you allow yourself the time to do it properly, it takes a little time. Well worth it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice kit We got this when remodeling our bathroom. It was just what we needed for our tub. I love the features. The finish is very nice and it doesn’t get as water stained as the one we had before. The water pressure feels much stronger now as well.

What’s the difference between the three rough-ins you have for this tub trim? Which one do i need?

Thank you for your inquiry, Arabella! Any of the three Roman Tub Rough-In Valves R4707, R4707-PX or R4707-MF with the Delta Pivotal Roman Tub T4799 trim kit. The R4707 (no suffix) supply lines are designed for soldering to 1/2" copper. The R4707-PX uses PEX crimp ring type connections. The R4707-MF uses PEX cold expansion type connections. Spec sheet you listed does not indicate the hole diameter needed. What is the max and minimum size?

Hello Arabella, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Pivotal Roman Tub Trim T4799 requires the Rough-In Valve R4707 and it has recommended holes sizes of 2" (51 mm) diameters.
