Beautiful bathtub faucet
This Delta bathtub faucet is made very well. It's heavy and beautiful. I love the sleek modern design. My husbands installed the faucet and said it was easy to install. My bathroom is finally remodeled and the faucet is the best part of it. When I turn the the water on, it looks like a waterfall. It's my favorite place to relax. This faucet also resist mineral buildup and hard water stains. I just wipe the faucet off with a dry towel after I take a bath. I highly recommend Delta faucets. They are the best.

Beautiful bathroom accessory!
This Delta tub faucet looks beautiful and is very well made. It helped make our bathroom look much more modern quite easily. We hired a plumber to install this and were so happy with the results. The water flow is slow but steady and makes almost a waterfall look to it. We haven't had any issues with leaking or discoloration of the hardware. Overall, we couldn't be happier with this upgrade and plan on getting matching sets for our sinks as well!

This faucet is very modern. It just makes everything in the room look good. It’s definitely for more updated homes. It’s very heavy! My husband said it came with everything he needed and was not hard to install. Everything worked well and was easy to adjust water temperature.

Very well made and durable
We recently did the bathroom over and instead of a regular tub we decided on a corner tub but we did not realize that a regular tub spout would not work it's to short so we looked around and found the delta t5779-ss spout it's longer but not only that it's like a water fall coming out of your wall and it looks amazing with the tub very sturdy you know it's well made I could not be more happier with the choice we made to buy a delta product

How do I remove the aerator to clean it? We have only dribbles coming out of the faucet.
Hello Susan! Thank you for your question. The Delta Pivotal Wall Mounted Roman Tub T5799-WL model comes with a stream straightener. This part can be cleaned/soaked in a 50/50 (vinegar/water) solution. Please use the link I've provided for directions on how to remove the stream straightener. Please see page 6

Is there a way to increase flow or do you have high flow cartridges available? This rough in valve is also used for wall mount faucets and produces no where near 8 GPM at 60 PSI. I only get 2.2 @ 75 PSI
Thank you for your question, CKing! Model T5799-SSWL is the Wall Mounted tub filler trim which does work with the same rough-in valve R3500-WL. This valve can produce up to 8 gpm but the trim will restrict the flow. If a lavatory version of this faucet was used by mistake, model T3599LF-WL will only produce 1.20 gpm @ 60 psi. Please be sure the correct trim kit is being used as the flow rate on a tub filler trim installed as a lavatory faucet will still be restricted due to the different type of water supplies.

Thank you for your question. There is not a recommended height for the faucet on the wall. We leave that measurement to the installer's preference. With very good water pressure, please estimate how long would it take to fill a 35 gl soaker tub?
I am trying to decide on a wall mount or a floor mount. Some of the floor mounts are rated at 4.5 gpm . I am sorry, I just do not understand "there is not restrictions on the gpm" as stated in a previous question. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Thank you for your question! This faucet does not have an aerator or flow restrictor that limits the maximum flow rate. The maximum flow rate will depend on the water pressure in your home. However, it will run at about 8 GPM at 60 PSI.
At 60 PSI it should take approximately 4 1/2 minutes to fill a 35 gallon tub.

What is the recommended overhang or distance from the inside edge of the tub to the wall?

Thank you for your question. There is not a recommended overhang distance for the Delta Pivotal Two Handle Wall Mounted Tub Filler T5799-WL faucet from the wall. We leave that measurement to the installer's preference. However, the length of the spout assembly is 11 1/2" (292 mm) long from the base to the end of the spout.

New home build with standing tub. Used a R3500-WL Two Handle Wall Mount Rough. Plumber came out today and said the pressure looked good. Builder used a T5799-WL and the flow rate is very bad. Plumber said the size is the issue, 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch. HELP
I just had the Delta DT5799SSPRWL faucet selected for your project by Fergusons. However, I noticed on this web page there is a banner that says it is discontinued. Is the faucet still available and only discontinued from production?

How far do these handles stick out from the wall. We need to be sure the handles clear a 4” high piece of quartz that’s installed as a tub splash when the handles are in the “on” (down) position.

Does the cartridge inside the rough-in need to be turned so that the handles are level in the off position? Right now, the handles need to be turned up (not level) in order for the water not to drip. Or, do you know why it would drip in the off position?

What is the distance the spout extends from the wall? Thinking of using this type of tub fill for a freestanding tub, which would be about 3" from wall, and with width of solid surface tub material, would need to extend at least five inches from wall.

Is there a replacement spout that is not so long? I have one now and the wife is not happy with it because it sticks out to far into the soaker tub making it had to get in and out.
