Dear Teresa, Thank you for your question. The Delta Wall Mount Pot Filler Faucet 1165LF, when folded up, it has a 1 1/2" measurement from the wall to the front of the widest part of the end where the water comes out. The measurement from the handle to the wall is 4 3/4". Best regards, Tanya

I am installing 2 inches above my stock pot. Choose your tallest pot that you will fill and then put it at least 2 inches above that. If too high it may splash in your lowest pots (although I think the flow is too slow to be a problem). I can update after I am done and have used it for awhile.

Thank you for your question, thom! The wall handle on model 1165LF-KS does not shut off the water supply. If the handle on the spout is on, while the handle on the wall is off, the water should still run. Best Regards, Benjamin

After many hours of trying to remove the handle to replace the valve cartridge, we finally talked to customer support and Doug (EXTREMELY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!), actually took the time to go find the product, assembled and disassembled it himself and gave us the solution! The solution: Unscrew the “stem” (the skinny part you use to turn the handle) of the faucet handle. Inside the hole it leaves, there is a set screw which can be loosened with an allen wrench. With it loosened, the entire faucet handle  easily slides off and exposes the valve cartridge. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the screw in front of the valve cartridge and then use a deep well socket to remove the valve cartridge. Assemble in reverse order making sure to line up handles with valve in closed position before pushing handle into place.

It is held onto the splines by friction. You can hand tighten the cartridge, then turning it a 1/4 turn with a adjustable wrench. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance.
