Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet East install Replaced our old kitchen faucet with a Delta Dunsley Spotshield Shield Spray faucet. We LOVE this faucet. It was very easy to install taking about 45 minutes of which the hardest part was removing the old faucet. I am a senior 70+ years so getting under the sink and counter is not one of the most pleasant things for me to do. We replaced the faucet because the old one was inexpensive retractable Moen which the previous owner put in when they remolded the kitchen. It kept getting hung up and did not easily slide back into position after using. Our new Delta works perfectly. It retracts very easily and stays in position. The two spray options work well and the third Shieldspray feature makes clean up and pre washing a breeze (Yes my wife prewashes some items before putting them in the dishwasher). Some people have complained that the Shieldspray is too powerful and over sprays, but we have not found that to be an issue as long as you use it as instructed (lowering it before using). We also have an extra deep sink, so that may help as well. Inconclusion, the faucet was easy to install, works very well, is easy cleanup, tall enough to wash or fill about anything you need and looks great. What more could any DIYer want.

The only suggestion we have is for the soap dispenser spout to be about 1/2” longer to clear the countertop. We would like to review this faucet about a year from now.

I needed a faucet with a smaller than a 2" base so it could go through a cut hole in the overmount sink edge, so no leakage. This Delta faucet looks so great with the restaurant style copper sink. Love the spray patterns too !

The handle rotates forward for hot and straight up for cold so that the back splash is not in the way and this functionality reduces the amount of water dripped on the surfaces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and great features I bought this because my 3 year old Kraus faucet's hose sprung a leak and I needed a replacement today as my wife was getting ready for a birthday party. So, I went over to Lowes and pick this one out. It turned out to be a good move because: it included everything you need to install it to your water supply; it had a magnetic hold for the wand, the weigh did not have to be clamped on to the spray hose; the PEX lines made for a much easier installation; the shieldspray feature is ingenious; even came with a liquid soap dispenser; everything fit nicely; looks great. Wife could not be happier.

I had a great experience with my original that there was no doubt that I was going to replace it with another Delta. The Magnatite docking feature is great, no need to adjust a weight on the faucet hose. The SpotShield is awesome also, very easy to clean water spots and splashes. The ShieldSpray is a new feature to me and makes removing tough food residue easy. Also, it was easy to install. It took me more time to remove the old faucet than installing the new one. I am happy with my purchase and I think you would also.

I like everything about this faucet, but noticed that there are no reviews on Delta.com or Lowes.com.  Could you shed some light on why this product has no reviews?  Does the fact that it is Lowes exclusive mean that it has cheaper plastic parts?

Thank you for your inquiry, Renoqueen18! The Delta Dunsley Pull-Down ShieldSpray Kitchen 19756Z-SPSD-DST faucet is fairly new so, that maybe the reason why it has not received reviews yet. We do encourage to leave a review for your faucet once you purchase one for other customers like yourself in the future. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Delta retail dealers usually sell faucets that include extra parts, such as soap/lotion dispenser or handles in the boxes. Plumbing professionals and Delta Studio Showrooms sell faucets where the faucets, soap/lotion dispensers and handles are packaged and sold separately ("LHP" models), giving the customer some additional styling choices. Can the Dunsley single handle faucet Model#: 19756Z-SPSD-DST can be installed with the handle facing towards the sink?.

Hi, EETT! Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the Delta 19756Z-SPSD-DST Faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature. We are buying a Delta faucet. Our old Moen faucet required a cartridge that needed to be changed and that was a pain. What maintenance/repair can we expect with a Delta and would a stand alone water handle be more trouble free than the side attached?

Thank you for your question, Dave! Any faucet made by us, or another company, will require a small degree of maintenance, however we strive make our products as durable as possible. Placement of the handle or cartridge will not make a difference as a DST (Diamond Seal Technology) faucet will use a cartridge that is tested to outlast even the industry standards which can exceed up to 5 million uses. Unfortunately factors such as debris can prevent this from working properly; however, this repair is very easy, does not require a special tool other than an allen wrench to remove the handle, and typically takes less than twenty minutes to complete. Does the handle need to me moved to a certain temperature position to shut the water off or can you shut it off/on at any termperature?
