RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware I bought this a few weeks ago—recertified—from Delta’s website. When I installed, the lines were very dirty upon the install flush, so I flushed an extra minute. Upon completion of the install, the lines did not appear to run great, but it seemed reasonable and I figured it was the newer standards (i.e., 1.8 gpm). About 2 weeks after install, I decided to run the lines to see if I was getting the full 1.8. It only filled a gallon milk jug about three-fourths in a minute. I then flushed the lines again (i.e., you flush at install) at which time the the cold line became a trickle. I guess I should not be surprised as the faucet connections (which are pre-connected to the faucet) are very narrow pex lines. You cannot disconnect the preconnected side of the lines to flush. I test connected a new line from my house pipe and ran it into a bucket and it was full flow, so I know it was not my pipes. Delta sent a new cartridge (advising it’s 8-10 days shipping) and said if that doesn’t work, then they are sorry that it’s not covered by warranty. They even said flushing can make sediment get stuck higher in the connection and prevent flow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money Remolded kitchen after 25 years went to single handle faucet when installed i noticed pressure was a lot less but I assumed it would be since the supply lines are so small. After 6 months Water pressure is terrible. I measured it to be around 3/4 gpm. Cleaned aerator screen replaced cartridge and flushed lines. I have used delta products for years but this one is not worth the money . Will have to replace with a different companies product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened to my water pressure???? I bought the Delta Dursley to replace a Lowes brand faucet that had also lost all water pressure. The Delta Dias great… for almost exactly a year. Now the Delta faucet has done the exact same thing as the cheaper Lowes brand: I have no water pressure at all. I’m beyond frustrated because I’ve already been through this very same thing. I spent a small fortune in $$ (including a plumber bill) and many many frustrating hours trying to fix the 2 month old Project Source Lowes faucet but eventually had to simply throw it away. I replaced the Lowes brand with this Delta Dunsley Jan 2022; it lasted almost a year but is now basically worthless. Because this same problem happened with the other Lowes faucet and no other water pressure in my house has changed, I know this is a faucet problem, not a water pressure problem. I’m so mad right now I swear I’ll never buy another faucet of any kind from Lowes but I have to get this current situation resolved. With the first faucet problem, and a new this new Delta, This kitchen faucet has already cost me about $1000 and countless frustrating hours attempting to fix it myself before resorting to a plumber who also could do nothing. Because of what I went through with the Lowes brand faucet, I won’t spend the money and time I spent trying to fix the Delta; I know it’s not a house water pressure problem; it’s a faucet problem. I’ll be calling customer service as soon as I can (it’s Sunday) but I wanted to get my complaint in writing. Hopefully Delta will honor the “Lifetime warranty” I read about.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Installation Instructions need to be updated... I bought this faucet from a big box home improvement store for a kitchen renovation we are doing. Got home and started to review the instructions and parts and noticed that the generic installation instructions, which were included in the package, referred to several parts that weren't included. I contacted Delta Customer Service and I was directed to the website for instructions that were more specific to this faucet. Although the instructions were slightly better, the instructions referred to a simple rubber gasket that was no where to be found. After speaking with the same customer service representative, we figured out that a new more complex gasket was included which wasn't shown anywhere in the instructions. Even the customer service representative remarked how they were receiving several calls about instructions not showing correct parts, which was making installation harder and more confusing that it should be. Delta generally makes a good product, but they need to do a better job with updating their instructions in the packaging and online.

Preguntas y respuestas

I like everything about this faucet, but noticed that there are no reviews on Delta.com or Lowes.com.  Could you shed some light on why this product has no reviews?  Does the fact that it is Lowes exclusive mean that it has cheaper plastic parts?

Asked by: Renoqueen18
Thank you for your inquiry, Renoqueen18! The Delta Dunsley Pull-Down ShieldSpray Kitchen 19756Z-SPSD-DST faucet is fairly new so, that maybe the reason why it has not received reviews yet. We do encourage to leave a review for your faucet once you purchase one for other customers like yourself in the future. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Delta retail dealers usually sell faucets that include extra parts, such as soap/lotion dispenser or handles in the boxes. Plumbing professionals and Delta Studio Showrooms sell faucets where the faucets, soap/lotion dispensers and handles are packaged and sold separately ("LHP" models), giving the customer some additional styling choices. However, the quality of all Delta faucets are the same. Best regards, Tanya

Can the Dunsley single handle faucet Model#: 19756Z-SPSD-DST can be installed with the handle facing towards the sink?.

Asked by: EETT
Hi, EETT! Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the Delta 19756Z-SPSD-DST Faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature. We are buying a Delta faucet. Our old Moen faucet required a cartridge that needed to be changed and that was a pain. What maintenance/repair can we expect with a Delta and would a stand alone water handle be more trouble free than the side attached?

Asked by: Dave
Thank you for your question, Dave! Any faucet made by us, or another company, will require a small degree of maintenance, however we strive make our products as durable as possible. Placement of the handle or cartridge will not make a difference as a DST (Diamond Seal Technology) faucet will use a cartridge that is tested to outlast even the industry standards which can exceed up to 5 million uses. Unfortunately factors such as debris can prevent this from working properly; however, this repair is very easy, does not require a special tool other than an allen wrench to remove the handle, and typically takes less than twenty minutes to complete. Best regards, Edward

Asked by: jda128

Does this faucet which is sold exclusively at Lowe's still use the ceramic cartridge with Diamond Seal technology? Lowe's website  does not specifically state the ceramic cartridge, diamond technology being used for this particular faucet.
