The handles are sturdy and does not appear to be flimsy quality. This Faucet will definitely hold up for years to come. Will recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent 2 handle chrome faucet This is an excellent basic faucet. This Delta kitchen faucet is simple and minimal, yet efficient. The neck is tall with a high arch giving me a lot more room between the end of the faucet and the bottom of the sink. We had a single handle for a while that extended nearly parallel to the sink basin providing no room at all for washing larger pots and dishes. The shiny chrome look is clean and freshens up the sink area…the turning of the faucet is smooth. The handle are a good size, just about right. There is only an etched C and H for temperature so for kids, stickers or whatever is sold to more clearly show which is which may be needed. My husband who has basic handyman skills installed with no issues and no leaks. The hardest part was removing the old one. We have a 3 hole stainless sink so able to move from single handle to dual no problem. Overall very happy. Would just like better marking of hot and cold but water stream is strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I really like this faucet. It was very easy to install, and the curved neck makes it very helpful to fill taller pans with water, as well as wash dishes. There are no drips or leaks, and I love how it looks—very sleek and shiny. No complaints here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta excellence Deltas Foundations two handled kitchen faucet, with a chrome finish is excellent. It fits a 3 hole sink perfectly. Installation was very easy only took about 7 minutes, the directions are very easy to follow. This is a top quality kitchen faucet, very stable and well built. The handles are easy to grab and use, turn without effort. The faucet itself has a good reach, goes out to the middle of my sink. something my old faucet did not have. It has a good flow .I am very impressed with this faucet, Delta excellence for sure I would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish faucet Stylish faucet. Comes with a 10 year limited warranty. Note that this faucet does not come with the water supply lines. This is fine with me because I replace mine anytime I install a new faucet. This faucet is well made and has a chrome finish. It is made for sinks with a three hole installation. I like the shape of the faucet because it leaves plenty of clearance room for flipping around large pans in my sink when I have to wash and rinse them. Installation was very simple with included instructions. I’m very happy with this faucet and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Do these recertified faucets have scratches or dents? What does recertified mean?

I have a PUR faucet mounted water filter. Will that be too heavy and cause seal/gasket leaks with high arc? If so, what type would be best with a faucet mounted water filter? And what type and finish is best with very hard water?

It will depend on the weight of the PUR water filter in question as to whether or not the weight would introduce any leaking issue. Does this faucet have a threaded spout (for attaching washer hose)?

Hi Carol, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 21987LF-SS-R. The removable aerator has female threads size 55/64-27. Is the faucet aerator removable?  I have a water filter that connects directly  to the faucet.  I would need to be able to unscrew the aerator and  attach the filter adaptor but need to make sure the aerator is removable.

Are the connections to the water supply lines metal or plastic, or do these come with water supply lines already attached?

What are the reasons for recertification? Were they damaged prior to recertification? Can you please give me some examples.

Does the 21987LF-R have plastic internal parts or is it all metal? I noticed this is sold in Lowes and typically they are cheaper models made with plastic parts.
