Easy to install but cheaply made
My son and I installed this yesterday with no difficulty. The spout seems to have too much play and the whole rig seems a bit flimsy but it worked right away and with no problems. Nice looking.

Wonderful kitchen faucet
Repaced my Price Pfister with this Delta cause the PF faucet completely fell apart. Had already repaired it twice before. This Delta faucet has a nice height for pots and pans and I can attach a Pur water filter without a problem. Handles turn smoothly and without effort. Installation was done by a plumber who loves installing Delta faucets cause they are so simple.

Bought a Moen faucet prior to the Delta, had a difficult time putting in the Moen and it continued to leak, the handles did not work correctly, there were a number of issues. The Delta faucet was installed in minutes, looks great, works great. No problems thus far would highly recommend.

Fair for the price
This is a simple, cheap faucet and functions as it should. There is nothing fancy about it, but it works. I've had trouble keeping the sprayer connection tight; even a small leak leads to severe "hammering" of the main faucet.
Of course, Delta makes some of the most beautiful faucets out there, should you wish to pay for them (which I do for other properties, and love them all). This one is a simple, cheap faucet.
Easy install and use. Height of faucet leads to strong leverage at base of faucet.....be aware of this if installing on a flimsy stainless sink. This is not fault of Delta, simply a matter of physics.

Seems okay to start, short lifespan on the Sprayer
Installed this last summer. Everything installed easily enough.
The nut on the spout seems to backoff periodically, but its easy enough to tighten back up by hand. But the spray has already broken.
I have contacted Delta to let them know about the issue. Hoping their customer service backs up their products.
Overall I like the faucet.
Wish Home Depot sold just the sprayers....

Sprayer leaks
We just installed our faucet and love the design and how easy to install but the sprayer seems to be leaking and we won't even have used it. There has got to be some kind of fix for this without us having to purchase anything else with what we have already spent

This is a beautiful yet powerful faucet.
This faucet has great water pressure which is very important to me since my last faucet had none! It is very stylish, the oil rubbed bronze looks very expensive yet was very affordable. I highly recommend this product.

Installed as instructed. Pressure problems though.
Installed as directed and all went well. Low pressure when the faucet is turned on however, either hot or cold. We also have a bar faucet on the same line and water pressure remained strong there so I know it's not a pressure problem going to the faucet. I think I read somewhere that this faucet had a water saver feature. ? Is that the issue here or should I be checkig something else. Odd that it's both faucets. is there something in the spout I should check? Already took the strainer out.

Looks great but no hot water
I purchased the faucet from Home Depot. It looked great in the store and I thought it would really work well in my kitchen. I installed everything and turned the water back on. I noticed that the pressure on the hot water was low. It slowed to a trickle after two days. Thinking I had not opened the valve enough, I checked it and it was correct. Well after 20 mins of checking the main supply, valve hoses, disconnecting and reconnecting the supply lines I checked the diverter assembly. I noticed that the cold water flowed great but the hot water did not. Well I guess I'm on my way back to Home Depot for another faucet. One question is Delta the product for me?

The sprayer has started to leak after only 5 months of use. I agree with the other reviews that the handles become loose. They do not carry replacement part at home depot.

WELL MADE AND A GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY
THIS PRODUCT WAS WHAT WE NEEDED TO REPLACE A OLD TWO HANDLE UNIT. THE UNIT CAME WITH GOOD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND TOOK US ABOUT FIFTEEN MINUTES TO INSTALL. UNIT WORKS WELL, LOOKS GOOD AND IS A GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE COST.

Kitchen Faucet
I originally bought this faucet 3 years ago. However about a year and half ago I noticed it started turning green around the bottom of the faucet and handles. Then the faucet started leaking everywhere and it turned out the interior of the neck (down by the base of the faucet) had busted. LUCKILY, I kept my original receipt and bar code from the box and Home Depot was good enough to exchange it for me. It's a beautiful faucet and I'm hoping I just got a lemon the first time. I hope my new one lasts a long time.

Just The Faucet We Wanted
We were wanting a kitchen faucet with a higher head so we could place bigger items in the sink without banging into the faucet. This product is excellent in height and it has a more powerful water pressure and spray. It is exactly what we have been looking for and wanting. And the price was just right. We have received compliments on this faucet and we are very satisfied with it.

Truly a great faucet. I replaced my old (19 yr. old) faucet initially with another brand and it was difficult to install and didn't work properly as it leaked underneath the cabinet. I took that faucet back and purchased the Delta faucet. It took all of 10 minutes to install -- no leaks, no problems whatsoever. It's a great faucet and I will be purchasing Delta-only products in the future.

Great looking, a bit flimsy
We love the looks of the faucet. However upon turning on the water you get a disconcerning water hammer effect. I tried lowering the pressure with no help. We paid a good price for this and expected a bit better.

No water pressure
We just replaced a 40+ year old faucet with this one and have lost a significant amount of water pressure. It takes twice as long to wash dishes and twice as long to fill a kettle. The sprayer only trickles even when both hot and cold are on full.

can this faucet be installed without the sprayer

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Foundations Kitchen faucet 21988LF-OB can be installed without the side vegetable sprayer. However, you would need to purchase the RP60295, to cap off the nipple below the faucet.

Is the strainer removable on model #21988lf?

Can I hook up a portable dishwasher to this faucet?
Thank you for your question, Suzi! You may connect a portable dishwasher to the spout using the right adapter. We do not make an adapter for this faucet, but the thread size of the spout is 55/64"-27 male.

Howdy, Are the spout, handles, & base of this faucet made of brass, or is the finish applied to a different base metal? I've read that the sprayer is plastic, but is the rest of the faucet all metal? Much obliged, Matt

The specs on model 21988lf faucet state 1/2" line from the wall to the facet. Does that get reduced before the water comes out the spout? I have a gravity feed water system with lower water pressure than typical city water systems.NEED 1/2"
Thank you for your question, john! Model 21988lf uses 1/2" IPS connections. There may be a slight reduction on the inlet nipple; however, this model is designed to produce 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi or 6.8 L/min @ 414 kPa. If you are not getting this flow rate, there will be a decreased flow regardless.
