RESEÑAS
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta faucet Works great and hopefully will last for years as the last Delta faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta works great but limited water flow I replaced a Peerless faucet with this one because I could no longer obtain parts for the Peerless. The Peerless had much better water flow and a higher, deeper reach for my kitchen sink. This Delta is adequate and works great but I miss the additional water flow and reach.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flow restricted. Beware. This lovely faucet has a water flow that is so weak that it won't operate my dishwasher. You should have warned me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Likeable Faucet This faucet would have been perfect replacement, if it had fit the holes that were originally drilled on top of my sink. It was just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

Need a model 21996LF-OB without a side sprayer

Asked by: JimM
Hello JimM, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 21996LF-OB Windemere® Two Handle Kitchen Faucet In Oil Rubbed Bronze. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help! Unfortunately, this faucet model is not currently available without the side sprayer. Is the Windemere faucet considered a low flow faucet? I do not see a GPM rating in the specs. We have a tankless water heater that ignites with the flow of the water, and the water seems to not get as hot as it did with our old faucet.

Asked by: Gramopie
Hi Gramopie, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing locating this information. We are happy to assist you. The Delta Faucet Windemere® Two Handle Kitchen Faucet In Oil Rubbed Bronze MODEL#: 21996LF-OB has a maximum flow rate of 1.8 gpm @ 60 PSI. It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue. Please follow the following instructions to perform the flush. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

The water pressure on this model is very weak. What do we have to do to increase the water pressure. PLEASE NOTE: We have excellent water pressure every where - including on the taps that we removed to install these taps - so that is not the problem.

Asked by: Sister Number 3
Hello Sister Number 3! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. To increase the flow of the Delta Faucet Windemere® Two Handle Kitchen Faucet In Oil Rubbed Bronze MODEL#: 21996LF-OB, we recommend flushing the valves of the faucet. To flush the valves, please follow the instructions below: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.  Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.   If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.  Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.  Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.  Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Best Regards, Carrie
