We have been happy in the past with our faucet. All of a sudden it is turning off a couple of seconds on its own after I turned it on. I can not find trouble shooting answers or help of any kind.

Great idea but rusts out
We first got this last year. And wow it looked and worked great. Well I’m about 6 months it started to rust. Now mind you I have ocd so I even clean this. But I was shocked to see it rust so much from the head unit to the cord. And now she have a useless device that does not look or work as advertised. Now because of the rust I would not buy this. Also trying to contact this company to get it replaced was no good. Save your money and don’t buy this. I will also be contacting the B.B.B this is a shame

Batteries (6 of them) do not last more than 2 months
This is a horrible faucet. The touch on and off design makes the faucet not operational if the batteries are dead. Therefore you can not use the faucet at all. The batteries last 2 months. I am looking into finding a way to disconnect the battery feature.

Leaking and terrible water pressure
We redid our kitchen and bought this faucet. It’s beautiful and perfect in every way except that in less than 2 months installed, it is already leaking from the faucet head and the water pressure is terrible. Really disappointed.

Not bad while it worked...>
Bought two for an extensive kitchen remodel, one for main sink and one for island sink. Installed 2014. Main sink unit solenoid stuck nearly closed and aerator screen cracked & fell apart. Now I get to figure out how to convert it to non-touch and find the aerator part number. Warranty is for a carefully calculated five years.

I purchased this product in 2014. I liked the features but no longer works and I thought I had a lifetime guarantee. Seems I don't. To make matters worse, I have two kitchens and this one really doesn't get the workout.

STAY AWAY- poorly designed
True to the overwhelming reviews that say this is trash, believe them. This is such a complex installation that it needs to operate without fail to be worth it. I payed extra for the AC adapter and the touch stopped working after 3 weeks on the top of the faucet. Slowly it started falling apart until finally the bottom of the base was the only part that worked.

Worth every penny!!!
I have had this faucet for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I will admit that I was hesitant when my wife said she wanted this fixture due to the price but boy was I wrong, it is worth every penny. I do have one complaint about this faucet, now that I have it I get frustrated when I visit other peoples house and can not touch the water on!!! It has ruined me!!!! If you are thinking about buying one, stop thinking and just buy it! You will be glad you did!!!! Also we live in a house with two small children and the spray shield is great for removing unwanted stains from their clothes whether it be food, spit up, or the stinky stuff from the other end it is great for blasting it away before throwing it in the washing machine!

Perfect Color
The only thing good about this faucet is the color. I’ve had this for about a year. When the batteries run out, it doesn’t work. So keep batteries in hand. The other issue is the touch. It doesn’t come on with touch when you need it and it goes off if you barely touch it. I’m finally replacing it. Never buy a battery operated faucet.

Do Not Buy--Poor Flow
This product is rated at 1.8 gallons per minute. We are lucky to get 1 gallon per minute and there is not enough pressure to clean anything. It takes ages to fill a sink or even a glass of water! We have followed all of their instructions, i.e. flushing etc., and the flow has not increased.

Very Happy!
We had the Cassidy Arctic Stainless with Lumicoat and ShieldSpray installed in a kitchen update about a month ago. We are very pleased with it's performance and graceful lines. The pull down adjustable sprayer and docking work easily. The ShiedSpray is not as impressive as I'd hoped but there is less splashing.

Replacement sink magnets
I contacted Delta about the sink magnet. They said it was in warranty and they sent us a replacement kit. Easy to replace. It only took me about 10 minutes to do the repair. Thank you delta for designing this so a repair can be done so easy!

Innovative and Beautiful
Absolute luxury to just touch the faucet and have preset temperature and flow of water. This faucet is quality through and through. The pull down feature is great for rinsing our dishes and stays in place when returned to the faucet. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the installation went, too. I’m not Mr. Handyman but was able to knock this install out all by myself.
This faucet is easy to use and has a temperature light so we know whether the water will be hot or cold. We just tell kids to come get us if the light is red. The other feature I must give a big thumbs up to is the “Shieldspray.” It actually does a great job of keeping the water contained when power rinsing dishes. A really cool and innovative feature. The faucet is beautiful and adds an elite touch to our kitchen.

The CASSIDY Single Handle Pulldown Kitchen with Touch2O Technology (9197T-AR-PR-DST) faucet is amazing! I love the touch technology. I no longer have to constantly clean the faucet. I simply touch the faucet and clean my hands without using my messy hands to turn on the water. Yay! I really love the ShieldSpray Technology as well. It efficiency rinses my dishes while not spraying the entire counter. Less cleanup after doing to dishes! The temperature indicator is also handy. I know right away if the water coming out will be hot or cold. I tell my nephews that if the light is red let an adult know. Safety first! The faucet is super easy to keep clean, touch to turn on, less spaying of the counter, easily wipe away calcium from the faucet holes and so much more! This is by far the best faucet I’ve ever had. Love it!

I got this very skeptical about the touch to turn on and off. After instalation we love it the pull out falsit feature for washing plants out and spraying vegetables is sthe best thing ever and the light toilet you know hot or cold is very helpful to getting water in the dark.

This touch faucet is so cool! I love the touch on and off feature! The shield spray is nice so I can spray off my dishes without getting sprayed myself. I love the beautiful arctic stainless color. I like the length of the spray hose. It’s great to reach pots on the counter to fill them.

The Delta 9197T-AR-PR-DST is a beautiful faucet. It was so easy to install. The directions were simple and easy to understand. The touch technology is so awesome, no messy clean up. The pull out spout is a heaven send to rinse dishes the shield spray keeps the water in the sinks instead of on you. The automatic water shut off after four min. And the LED light is red if water temp. Is hot and blue for cold also helps when you have kids. Very cool features. Absolutely a beautiful and functional product. I will recommend.

I love it!
My husband was able to install the new faucet himself in about an hour. It looks amazing in my kitchen. I love the pull out spout to fill my coffee maker. The touchless feature Is amazing, especially when you’re cooking. Something I never knew I needed, but am so thrilled to have.

I have low water pressure with cold water only. Just started coming out slower. Hot water flows our normal pressure. What could be the issue?
Hi, JCSmith,
Thank you for your question and I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing low flow with your Delta Faucet. The low flow you are describing is most likely the result of debris in your supply lines or faucet.
Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation.
To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Start with the easy stuff:
Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed.
If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.
Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet.
Next, check the supply lines for debris:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.
Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies.

hot vs cold set up
for the cassidy single handle kithcen faucet, is the water supposed to be set up to be hot when handle pulled down / toward you or cold when pulled down / toward you.

Can this faucet be hard wired with a transformer?
Technical specification documentation says that this faucet can be wired with a transformer (rp73954). However, none of the documentation says how to hook it in.

Thinking about a cassidy 91977 faucet for existing installation. Have control hole and faucet hole, plus spray and soap dispenser hole Wish to know options for covering existing holes in champaign bronze.
Thank you for your question, David! The 9197T-CZ-DST has an optional matching escutcheon plate, RP71545CZ that will fill three holes. Since this model has a pull down wand, it will not allow for a separate sprayer and would work with a soap dispenser off to the side. Otherwise, the RP3816 Hole Cover is the only cover that we make and unfortunately it is not available in Champagne Bronze.

How do you control water pressure?
Hi Lightnin, Thank you for your question. The water volume on the model 9197T-AR-DST is controlled by pulling the handle motion to the right with closer to vertical being low flow and increasing as the handle moves to the right.

On the specs sheet Rev E for Cassidy 9197T-RB-DST, it says dual function wand shield spray for kitchen model only. When searching for this model, on-line retailers all say this model only has traditional stream and spray. What does "kitchen model" mean?

Thank you for your question. The 9197T-RB-DST does come with the traditional stream and spray sprayer assembly. ShieldSpray™ Technology for the 9197T-RB-DST is not available until Spring of 2018.
