I bought my faucet 3 months ago. The only thing that I hate is it drip after being shut off. Even though everything has been checked to see if it a washer or been placed in right everything has checked out no washer damage or putting it in right

Stupid method to secure to sink
Every faucet I have installed ensured that there was no way for the main body to not move in a single hole installation. Instead, even if I have the brass nut tightened as far as I can take it and the screws in the tensioning piece tightened to the maximum, the main body of the faucet STILL moves. I have a 1.5" thick counter and the problem is that the body of the shank can move within the tensioning part. No amount of tightening is going to prevent this and even if I could, the plastic on that is going to wear down over time. This is really an awful design. The shank should be the size of the hole and the nut to secure it should not be able to move. I may not be a professional, but I am an engineer and I've done this enough times before to recognize something not thought through

Have had this faucet just over a week. Super easy to install including the touch20 conversionkit. Great quality everywhere, beautiful finish, great water pressure. Really love the touch20. Delta has the best touch faucets going right now and the led light that changes color by temperature seemed trival but is a great help . the 3 different spray setting are all great. and this faucet doesnt splay like many other pull down faucet.

Great Faucet!! Excellent Product!!
I installed this faucet over a week ago and I found it to be the easiest faucet installation ever. Everything went smooth with hooking up the sprayer and connecting to the hot and cold lines. I looped the excess tubing and had no problem with leaks. The Magnatite feature is awesome, no more droopy nozzel. The forward handle is great for minimal distance to the back splash. I have a distance of 1.5 inches and I did not use the base plate because my sink does not require it. The 3 spray nozzel settings are a nice option to have. I do use all of them without any problems. Just make sure your sprayer is pulled down into the sink to avoid oversplash. Other than that, it's a great faucet and I highly recommed it. I wish I had purchased this a year ago.

Really Nice Product!
Our aging faucet's handle snapped and we need a replacement stat! I went to HD to get a "temporary" one while I ordered parts for our existing one, which cost nearly $1000 several years ago. After getting this installed and everything buttoned up, we decided to keep this and just say adios to our old one.
I really like the way the faucet head line connects with just a push and that nifty little clip. Also liked the fact that that it came with that specialty wrench for tightening the brass nut...saved a bunch of money from the swear jar.
My HD only stocks the ones with soap dispensers and we don't have the hole for one, so that was a little money wasted but all in all really satisfied with the product and would definitely recommend to a friend or purchase again if the need arises.

Awful instructions!
I bought this and instructions do not tell you where the silver plate goes. The self-tightening screws keep falling out of place. The gold nut does not tighten down all the way. Just keeps turning and turning.

Play in the faucet handle
Faucet looks great but there’s too much play in the handle when adjusting the water flow. The temperature adjustment works well, but it’s hard to get the water flow right because the faucet mechanism is too loose. Ive tried tightening the Allen key on the handle but this doesn’t help - the play is in the faucet mechanism itself.

Disappointed in the Marca 19780Z-SPSD-DST
I have owned this faucet (and many other Delta faucets in the past, all happy) since December 2018. Now that I've owned and used it for a year, I can write an honest, objective opinion on this faucet.
PROS: design, the name, the "ShieldSpray." I purchased this faucet because I wanted a "sleek, smooth" design that would be much easier and quicker to clean. The more grooves and designs it has, the more opportunity for dirt/water/grime to collect and break down quicker. NO THANK YOU!!! I wanted something that I can simply wipe off and get on with the next task instead of standing there and picking through each and every corner/groove/crevice to remove the water/dirt!
CONS:
1) I'm guessing not many people will encounter the problem I did where the handle almost touches my dishwasher release valve I had installed next to my faucet. 1/16" wider (the handle) would have caused me to select an entirely new faucet for this reason BUT I got lucky.
2) I was excited to try out the new "ShieldSpray" feature. It works pretty well but like other reviewers stated, it does tend to splash around the sink. If you have the faucet turned on low, the single middle stream isn't strong enough to release the particles off of your dishes or sink but if you have the pressure on full blast, it splashes water around the dish you are trying to clear off. Therefore, I tend to not use this feature and find it to be wasteful.
3) my biggest complaint, however, comes from the spray feature. I'm not sure what genius engineer designed this feature but the fact that there is a "void" of spray/steam in the spray feature causes me to take longer to rinse my items or twist my items in ways I hadn't needed to in the past. This is making me use more water, too; not what I need. Does Delta not perform Quality Control or Quality Management or "test kitchens" (like food test kitchens???) to test out their products??? This boggled my mind. Couldn't believe anyone would like the "divided" spray feature. The empty spot in the middle isn't spraying any water to rinse, people! I want to warn EVERYONE to stay FAR away from this feature because it's useless!
I've owned other brands (Kohler, Moen) and I've never encountered a problem like this. Make the spray feature either round, oval, or straight but PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU DELTA, DO NOT LEAVE A GAP IN THE SPRAY FEATURE!!
If Delta has a way for me to retroactively switch out the faucet head to the full spray (not divided like this one does), I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Did I say how much I hated the spray feature???!!! If I could uninstall and install faucets myself, I'd go and buy a new one today!
The first opportunity I get to purchasing a new kitchen faucet, I'm on it!

We love the faucet but the instructions sucked
The faucet is wonderful. The instructions were horrible—hardly easy and it took two people to figure out how to install. BADDDDD instructions-incomprehensible wording. images of parts left out so we had to figure it out on our own. PLEASE hire someone to re-write the instructions and include all pictures of all parts and designate what goes to which faucet.
WE are not improvement professionals, but we aren't stupid.

No hot water; wobbles on sink
After professionally installed, no hot water from faucet. Delta sending new catridge for brand new faucet. When installing on stainless steel sink, faucet wobbles badly. Ordered Delta Sink Faucet Stabilization Plate. Now have to uninstall new faucet to reinstall with stabilization plate.

Poor Design
This faucet is poorly designed for the price paid. #1 The extending spray head does not easily retract. I even added the weight from the faucet that I replaced, still poor retraction. The spray pattern from the head unit is 6 separate lines with a void in the middle. Works poorly. The markings for the direction for hot / cold positioning of the handle is so faint as to be difficult to see unless you know to look closely. The handle also has hot to the front which I feel is opposit what I would expect.

Disappointed with spray nozzle
I've owned Delta faucets for a long time and have always been happy with them, but the spray nozzle on this is over-engineered (the plumber who installed it agrees with this). What you end up with is three spray options that are not very good. Since there is only so much room on the spray head, the width of the standard stream is too small because the space has been sacrificed for the other spray options. The spray stream comes out in two patterns on either side of the center part of the spray head, and it comes out with a lot of force so that is splatters everywhere, and also just doesn't do a very good job of rinsing.The "shieldspray" feature I have yet to figure out how to use, but has a very fine stream that comes out in the center with great force and also splatters everywhere. My previous Delta faucet had a wider standard stream and a circular spray pattern where the water came out at a very useful force that made rinsing easy without a lot of splattering. On the positive side, the faucet is good-looking and looks nice in my kitchen.

hi Delta, i been using delta hand pull kitchen faucet a years ago (model Marca collections ),and right now the water running slow. i try to took off the head spray and clean up inside dirt and a little round screen but the water still running slow.
I too have low pressure with this faucet. It is low on both sides. This faucet replaced an old Delta faucet that had great flow. I flushed the lines but it is still low. I have a whole house filter on my water system so water debris is never an issue. If it wasn't so difficult to install I would return this for another model.

We would like to install the base handle on the left hand side (facing sink). Looking at the RP73000 cartridge, it does not look as though you can flip it around and still have the handle rotate out towards the sink. Is there any other way to do this?

Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet.
