Great faucet!
We got this faucet while updating our kitchen. The features are great, with the touch20 technology it makes it easier to turn on when having messy hands. It was easy to install. You can turn your tempature to where you want it, that way when using the touch sensor option it’s already set for you to wash your hands. The pull down sprayer is an added bonus! You have an all in one faucet. I absolutely love it!

Fabulous and Contemporary
This is an extremely functional and innovative piece of equipment that completes the contemporary look in my kitchen. I installed the faucet myself and did not encounter any substantial obstacles along the way. I just took my time and followed the instructions provided, using a basic assortment of tools.
I am particularly fond of the fact that the Touch 2.0 technology allows for minimum touching of the faucet. I prefer to use my wrist to tap it on and then off again as my hands are invariably wet when I am working at the sink as you would expect! It is clever, because it can differentiate between touching and grabbing, thus eliminating any confusion about wanting the faucet on or off.
Another feature that I really appreciate is the auto shut-off which gives me peace of mind if I am distracted at all. It activates after just four minutes. Another gem is the LED light functionality which lets me know the temperature of the water. It graduates from blue, then magenta, and finally red for the hottest flow.
As with other Delta products I have been lucky enough to own, this one comes with the usual limited warranty. I am extremely pleased with this new addition to the kitchen and it is proving to be very useful indeed.

Great features, one drawback
I am very happy with this new faucet. It is aesthetically pleasing and a nice addition to my kitchen. It was very easy to install and was up and running in no time. I especially like the touch feature. I am an avid baker and cook and always have messy hands while working in the kitchen. This feature allows me to turn the sink on and off without touching it with my hands. The one drawback is the lack of power that the spray nozzle has. My old faucet had a very powerful spray. This one seems wimpy to me. Overall, I’m happy with the product.

Beautiful faucet with cool features
Delta did a great job with this faucet! It has made my kitchen look much more appealing and modern. I really like the touch technology, basically you just touch the faucet itself and the water turns on, so it’s a great feature for when you have your hands full or dirty. The LED light is a nice feature as well. No longer will I have to feel piping hot water when checking to see if the water is warm enough. The LED light tells you whether the water is cold or hot. The faucet itself seems to be made of durable material, and does not stain easy. The installation was straightforward, similar to other kitchen faucets. In order for the LED light to work you have to use AA batteries, and I’m curious to see how long they will last. I highly recommend this faucet to anyone looking to update their kitchen faucet and enjoy modern technology.

Great product
I received this. What an amazing product. Nicely crafted. Easy to install. Easy to follow instructions. Didn't realize it needed batteries, but not a problem. Works very well. Looks very elegant. I just love it. Especially when hands are dirty, just touch with wrist and on it goes. Easy to keep clean. Love it

Makes Cook/Clean Time Easier
Delta made the kitchen faucet much easier as well as very attractive with this model. Coming in with dirty hands from the garage no longer means getting the faucet handle a mess. When I'm preparing my famous Mexican Feast for the family it's much easier to drain and rinse the ground beef by just tapping the faucet instead of having to set down the pan and strainer to get it turned on and then feel for the right temperature. The little kids can turn the water on and off by themselves with just a touch, and sometimes kids forget to turn things off so the auto shut-off has come in handy. My favorite feature of this faucet is the blue/red LED indicator that let me know the temperature of the water. I guess I never knew how much I would appreciate that instead of "running my finger back and forth under the water." I'm eager to see how long the batteries really last with as much as the whole family uses the sink, and the instructions say "up to two years." I've put in quite a few faucets over the years, and this one was about average amount of time and effort to put in.

Nice Faucet
This faucet was a little hard to install but it works great. I have only had it a couple weeks, so we'll see how it holds up. The LED temperature light is pretty awesome, and the spray shield feature is also really cool.

the faucet is good
I like the water sensor faucet because it's easier to use as it's hands free and that can be a lot less stressful when cooking or cleaning up items in the kitchen so I don't have to stop and dthings while I am busy

Beautiful!!
Look and feel, the faucet looks fantastic and has very good construction. The pull down has a good counterweight that makes it feel nice. the touch works very well. Installation, was easy, it was the same as a regular faucet with the addition of the battery pack that controls the touch sensor. Extras, There is a small light on the bottom of the faucet that indicates the temperature of the water. I would definitely recommend getting this faucet. It's great!

Gorgeous Faucet
I love this faucet. It is elegant and the touchless feature is something that I didn't even know I needed! A small upgrade to our sink made our whole kitchen look much better. The pressure is good, and the extendable neck makes washing out the sink super easy.

Never had to repair a faucet this frequently
This faucet was installed in a newly remodeled kitchen of a home we purchased. It looks lovely and the touch feature works well for us. We've had it in use for approximately four years and like many others have had to replace the sprayer during that time.
Recently I was noticing a rusty powder building up between the sprayer and the faucet and I couldn't figure out what is was coming from. It would get on your hands and was gross. Not something you want spewing out when trying to clean dishes. One day half of a very rusty and corroded magnet fell out of the faucet. Yesterday the rest of the magnet fell out so now the sprayer just hangs down limply and won't snap back in place.
I'm online looking for replacement parts or trying to decide if we just need to get a different faucet.

Wonderful when it works
This faucet was installed in five years ago during my remodel. My sister has one, which is what prompted me to choose Delta touch. I have since recommended it to a friend who purchased one. I love the look and the ease of the touch feature, when it works. In the time I have had this faucet, I have replaced the solenoid twice, the nozzle once and the nozzle magnet once. I want to continue recommending this faucet but cannot. I can however recommend Delta for its customer service. I have spoken to several helpful, competent, polite representatives. For that I am appreciative. I love this faucet when it operates properly.

Best thing since sliced bread
This is my first "Touch" faucet, and we love it. Just as a regular faucet, it is attractive and appears to be well constructed and durable. My only complaint is that the spout does not extend out into the sink as far as I would prefer.
The touch feature works as advertised, and we are pleased with it. I thought it would take a while to become accustomed to the touch feature, but I was wrong; it took maybe two days. Now when we use someone else's kitchen faucet, we catch ourselves trying to turn on their faucet with a touch.
I purchased the power supply to avoid having to use batteries; however, installing an electric outlet proved somewhat problematic in my installation, so I abandoned the power supply and use strictly batteries, which works fine. I would recommend simply using the battery pack (accepts both AA and C batteries) unless you already have an "always-on" outlet near your sink (like for a plug-in dishwasher); the disposal outlet obviously won't work unless your builder was REALLY nice and made the second outlet in the duplex pair always-on.
Time will tell how durable the electric valve is, but until it fails, this faucet deserves a solid Excellent rating.

Beautiful addition w Serious issues
This faucet looks great, simple to use with its handy touch feature. But it slowly started not responding to touch. We realized that you couldn't touch the main part of the faucet but would have to touch the base now. Then pulling the sprayer out, we notice now there is something rusting inside the faucet! You can see the house with rust on it.A $600+ faucet rusting is not optimal. If you clean the rust off off, you get better touch response but that goes away as the rust comes back. Definitely can tell the strong magnet is one of the things that is rusting, and now the magnet is starting to fall apart, making the unit look worse. The hose no longer stays with the rest of the faucet, and hangs down a little bit because the magnetic force is barely there now.

Pointless design.
We inherited this faucet in a home we recently purchased. It took us two days just to figure out how to get water out of it!! No, seriously. The touch feature does not work at all from the first half of the stem and up. The handle does not work unless you touch it to activate it, then turn the handle to get water. Got that, you have to turn it on, then turn it on again. Then at times you simply touch the handle to turn it off and neglect to turn the physical handle to the "off" position. In that case ten to twenty minutes later you hear water rushing out of the faucet while you are usually in another room of the house. This gives you a nice little paranoia that this will happen while you leave the house. I wouldn't have another one of these installed if you paid me.

Beautiful to look at HORRIBLE to use
I bought this faucet to replace another just for the look and the touch capability. I have worked with it for a year and a half and am giving up. The blue light stopped working the first month, I changed the batteries weekly, sometimes it came on by itself, sometimes no water at all. I had three plumbers look at it. I believe I have paid the cost of the faucet trying to get it to work. Now I am online trying to see if there is a reliable Delta product. I would not purchase this model.

Nice design, but the touchless feature worked only sporadically after the first few months and now only works if you can find a spot along the base.
We selected this product for our kitchen remodel two years ago. The product worked well for the first six months, and then we started to have sporadic problems with it not working if touched along the faucet. We had two service calls in the first year and it would start magically working when the serviceman came out, and stop again a few days later. It would also just turn on by itself if left in the touch position even when no one was in the kitchen. We've changed batteries, checked the connections, and done other trouble shooting, but still it often won't come on at all until you find a place along the base that will activate the water. We probably spent 3 times what a regular faucet would have cost to have the latest touch features. Definitely the one thing in our remodel that I consider a waste of money.

Hasn't ever worked as advertised
This faucet was installed during construction of our house, and had been used for a year and half. From the start, the faucet would not turn on/off by touching the the spout, I always had to touch the base. I thought that was the way it was supposed to work, until I accidentally touched the spout one day and it came on. At this time -- about a year ago, I called customer service, and the rep asked about if there was any contact between the faucet and the cast iron sink which is under-mounted on my granite counter top. I said I couldn't really tell, and she sent me two isolators to install between the faucet and the sink. I decided to just live with the problem, and didn't install the isolators. Within the last month, the faucet now won't completely shut off, and has either a major drip or a steady stream when off, so I have to use it like a non-touch faucet, opening and closing the handle. I have another Cassidy faucet that is non-touch version, and the volume of water coming from it is substantially more than the touch version, which is another problem. So: erratic performance of the touch feature, the faucet now does not completely shut off, and reduced water volume over the non-touch version Cassidy. Would appreciate any help that can be provided. Thanks.

Fed up
We've had a Delta 9997T-DST ToucH2O Cassidy faucet since we remodeled our kitchen 2.5 yrs ago. The performance of this faucet has been spotty at best. Only one week after installation, it would turn on and off by itself, and the touch feature would only work with a very deliberate touch to the faucet's base; touching anywhere along the spout did nothing. After some troubleshooting I found this was because of a wire from the solenoid to the faucet's thread. It attaches with a clip, but this clip has to be on a bare metal surface (most of the thread has plastic insulation) for the touch feature to work properly. Because the solenoid jerks every time you turn the faucet on and off, this clip can slip or become dislodged easily. So every month or so I have to get under the sink and reset this clip to get reliable functionality.
That's an annoyance we've had to live with, but in the last week the faucet just doesn't work at all. I touch the faucet, the blue light comes on and I hear the solenoid click, but only a tiny trickle of water comes out. We are reduced to going downstairs to our basement laundry sink to get water for cooking. After online research I believe the solenoid is not opening fully to allow water to flow and needs to be replaced. I am about to try contacting Delta about getting a new solenoid, but at this point I have to say I would just love to have a regular MANUAL faucet again that works and doesn't have these constant headaches.
ToucH2O has a long way to go before it is fully productized. Just the placement of the wires near metal (like, say, a sink??) can throw it off. Every time I replace the batteries I can hear the solenoid clicking just from the movement of the wire connected to the battery housing. I'm really surprised Delta would market a product with such sensitive wiring connections when it is meant to be in a tight space near metal sinks, metal hoses and pipes.

Love the look and the touch feature but not the restricted water flow
We were all excited to install this faucet into our newly renovated kitchen. It looks really pretty and the touch feature is fun to use. One huge issue though! The water flow is more like a trickle and that is of a great disappointment to us. We had the faucet installed by a licensed plumber and the valves are wide open so there are absolutely no restrictions in the lines or in the valve. Yet the trickle that comes out is hardly enough to rinse your hands much less the dishes. The plumber has tried everything he knew of and yet we are left with a trickle. This is so discouraging to us because we were so looking forward to this faucet. We are now having to look for a different faucet to replace the Cassidy. Our renovation included 3 baths and the kitchen and all of them we used Delta products with no water flow issues, this is the largest expense of all of them and the one that does not work to our expectations. Very Sad indeed!

Great faucet, can be difficult to keep working properly
We have had them for over three years and will never go back to manual faucets in our kitchen again! So much easier to use, and super sanitary too. We have two of these faucets in our kitchen, after 6-9 months they will start to respond erratically, fixed with a battery change. We have had a couple bigger issues, first there was a solenoid problem but a Delta tech came out and replaced the problem parts for free, then we had another problem because it turned out that the plumber who originally installed them did not include a special adapter for our cast iron sinks. We just got a diagnosis for the biggest problem, which is that in one of our sinks in particular it would take a long time (20 seconds sometimes) for cold water to come out when turned to cold. Real problem if you have ever burned yourself in the kitchen! It turns out that if the handle is in the out or open position, even if water is not coming out the spout the hot and cold lines can cross, and the hot water, which wants to expand, will push its way into the cold water line, so we have to flush all that hot out of the cold water line before the cold will come out. There are check valves between the taps in the wall and the supply lines that are supposed to prevent water from going backwards, it seems one or more of those valves has failed. We just ordered new check valves and are hoping that will fix the problem, but in general it means that if you are not using the faucet for a while, it is better to put the handle into the off position to make sure that the hot and cold water lines do not mix.

Fantastic Faucet, amazing features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently updated our kitchen faucets and hardware. We purchased two of these faucets, one for the main sink, one for the prep sink. They are addictive! I love not having to touch the faucet with food covered hands, and I love the light at the base of the faucet that automatically tells you whether the water will be hot, warm or cold by being either red, purple or blue respectively. With a tap of your wrist, back side of your hand, elbow, whatever (nose?!) you can turn the faucet on and off. The retractable spray nozzle is fantastic too. It has a wide spray radius, and a button which allows you to toggle between either a spray stream of water or a full stream. The extra magnetic pull when retracting the sprayer is very useful, as you don't find yourself pushing the sprayer back into its holding spot...it pulls right back in, thanks to the magic of magnets! I am in love with my Delta Touch faucet. Go for it. You'll be glad you did!
