It was relatively painless to install. Delta has a great installation video on YouTube that was very helpful. The system is compact and fit easily under the sink. One thing to note is that you do have to purchase the additional faucet if you don’t already have one and install that as well. But, it was worth the effort. A+

The flow runs fast while releasing less wastewater compared to other systems. The water tastes great with no chemical smell. However, mine operates on its own a few times a day, releasing wastewater. The noise is noticeable but not bothersome. Overall, a solid choice for clean and efficient water filtration.

So make sure you have a power outlet and not just a dedicated/hard wired disposal line in your house. Otherwise it worked great! Love the taste and will be using it for a long, long time! Makes me feel much more comfortable about our drinking water quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Very excited to try the new 6-stage Delta Clarifi Tankless Under Sink reverse osmosis system. The system arrived packaged and protected the unit is elegant and modern, easy to install, fast and simple with the guide that includes QR codes that link to video tutorials, another point in its favor and perfect for me. The Delta Clarifi system includes a carbon filter cartridge and an RO filter cartridge, both inside the unit, along with a pre-filter that must be mounted outside the unit. The system is capable of filtering more than 90 pollutants, Changing the filter cartridges is very easy. You simply turn them counterclockwise and take them out, it's fast and convenient. Another nice feature is the long service life of the cartridges: at least two years (or 1,320 gallons) for the RO and carbon filters, and up to 6 years for the pre-filter. I appreciate the indicator lights that show when it is necessary to replace the cartridges, so I don't have to track the dates. However, although there is no storage tank, the water flow is impressive: it only takes a few seconds to fill a glass. The water tastes clean and pure, and I'm sure it will improve even more after a few weeks, as carbon filters usually do. Overall, I'm very impressed with this RO system. The quality is good, the noise level is low and needs little or no maintenance apart from changing the filters, easy to install and seems to be built with high quality, I definitely recommend it to friends and family.!

What makes Delta Beverage Faucets suitable for RO water?  What materials does the RO water come into contact with?  Stainless Steel 304?  Polyethylene?  Is there a standard that governs what materials are suitable for RO water?

Hi Greg, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet DWQ1001012 . The finished water that is the output of a reverse osmosis system is considered aggressive. The processing removes minerals, resulting in a low pH. The finished water corrodes metal pipes and components as the water attempts to replace those minerals and metals and reach equilibrium. Therefore non-reactive materials like PEX, ceramics, and plastics are used to deliver the finished water. As of this date, the beverage faucet models are the only faucets designed to handle R.O. filtration systems. Please reach out with any additional questions! Per Delta's website, RO water can cause metals to leach from unapproved faucets into the water, and only your Beverage Faucets are safe for RO water systems. Can RO water be safely stored in a metal water bottle, such as 18/8 stainless steel?

Therefore non-reactive materials like PEX, ceramics, and plastics are used to deliver the finished water. A plastic container may be better than a metal container. A remineralizer (sold separately) will add back some minerals and help balance the pH. Unfortunately, we don't have a recommendation for reverse osmosis compatible appliances or containers. Hoses, hose adapters, hose coupling, and test strip are also included. An optional remineralization cartridge is sold separately as DWQ300300.
