RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad quality I have 2 of these that are 2 years old. They have not held up. Trouble from the start with the pop-up mechanism which at first was just finicky but now, they do not work at all. Please do not waste you money on these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great but does not pop up We have two of these that are a little over a year old. One of them has not worked correctly for some months. It does not pop back up when you close the drain. I have unscrewed it, but I cannot get it to pop up at all any more. It seems like many here have had the same problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Breaks easily These look nice but the top broke off very easily. When I went to replace it I find that Home Depot does not have the individual drain assembly pop up and Delta sells it for near the cost of he whole Delta faucet package at Home Depot. So frustrating!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not bothering to use it anymore I agree with other reviews that have fewer than 4 or 5 stars. Lovely to look at when they were installed but functionally disappointing. My primary bathroom has two of these (sink and tub), installed 4 1/2 years ago. I stopped using them more than 2 or 3 years ago and have been living with the risk of having open drains. The parts became easily gunked and water drained slowly. Then the pop ups would stick in the closed position and had to be pried open.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty, elegant, but not particularly practical. We have five of these things, all bought with the house. From the beginning, two held water indefinitely, two leaked slowly, and one hardly impeded the water at all. Four years later, only one still holds water. Although there's an elegance to these things, there are some things that should be noted. First, between the top gasket and the stage the stopper screws into, they gunk up much quicker than the old fashion lever types, and are more of a pain to clean. Second, you're going to get at least a finger wet releasing the drain, if not closing it as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stopped Working It worked great for about a year and then it stopped working and would get stuck. It is extremely frustrating!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stuck in the open position After a year of functioning properly the unit is stuck in the open position. I love the faucet model 3553lf but the stopper is a problem

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped functioning. I bought this faucet with pop up drain a couple of years ago. I love the faucet but I can no longer use the pop up drain because the drain gets stuck in the close position and then I have to take drain apart to pop it up again. It only worked properly for a short amount of time.

Can this product replace ARA 567LF's MPU ?

Already installed ARA 567LF-MPU. Since there is no overflow in sink , will I have to purchase drain flange RP23060 in addition to the 72173?
Asked by: LYNN
Hi Lynn, Thank you for your question. If your sink does not have an overflow, you will need to install a pop-up assembly without holes for an overflow, such as the 72172. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/72172.html Best regards, Jon

The Pop Up Drain lets water out when closed.

How do I fix it and how do I get replacement parts?
Asked by: Davy
Dear Davy, Thank you for your question. The pop-up drain assemblies are not designed to hold water for long periods of time. If the water is leaking out of the sink bowl right away, then the water may actually be leaking around the flange and running down the drain. If you push down on the stopper with water in the sink bowl and the water still leaks out of the bowl, then the flange is not sealed properly. I would suggest removing the flange from the sink bowl and applying a large bead of clear silicon to the bottom side of the flange to properly seal the flange with your sink bowl before you reinstall it. Best regards, Tanya

There are no installation instructions for this specific product 33W576, just a diagram of the parts? Is the white foam ring supposed to go above the sink or below? Where is silicone supposed to be applied? Install instructions would be nice.

Asked by: Swan1234
Hi, Swan1234. Thank you for your question. The white foam gasket would need to be installed under the sink for the Delta 33W576 drain assembly. We recommend silicon sealant to be placed at the flange where it sits in the sink. Best Regards, Rosanna

does a 585LF-MPU faucet inclue a spring loaded pop-up drain?

the box label says it has a pop-up drain??? please clarify because the instructions mention a 33W576 pop up drain that was not in the box
Asked by: ron
Hi Ron, Thank you for your question. The model 585LF-MPU comes with the RP26533 Metal Pop Up drain assembly. This drain assembly is the traditional style used with the lift rod. The 33W576 push pop drain assembly comes with the model 585LF-LH. Thanks, Dave

Does the Drain Plug cap screw off counterclockwise to remove it from the 33W576 assembly. Is it normal for it to drain fairly slowly when it is probably not clogged with any hair, etc..

Asked by: tomcat
Hi, Tomcat! Thank you for your question. The Delta 33W576 drain assembly cap does unscrew counterclockwise to remove. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does the white gasket replace silicone around the flange? Do you use both?

Asked by: Thomacmon
Hello Thomacmon, Thank you for your question. The white gasket is used in place of silicone. You may apply silicone if the sink is rough or uneven to help ensure a water-tight seal. Best regards, Jon

I love the push popup drain, as it seems well made, looks and works great, but why does the drain extension tube thread on the INSIDE of the outlet, instead of the outside where it would prevent leaks without any type of thread sealant?

Asked by: roxie
Hi, Roxie! Thank you for your question. The Delta 33W576 is designed to not leak. We recommend to use silicon sealant to reinforce no leaks below the sink. Best Regards, Rosanna
