Plastic Soap dispenser handle
I have a delta kitchen faucet and this soap dispenser for 3 years. Faucet is great. However the dispenser is made of plastic and broke easily. It is a piece that goes under stress to be pumped so naturally I expected it to made of metal and save some time for costumers not to ask for replacement.

Easy installation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this soap dispenser with a touch less faucet. I love the slick look to it and when after 3 years it stopped working I had to get a second one. Is a smooth and easy installation! You can't go wrong.

Soap dispenser failed (plastic bottle broke off)
I received my delta touch faucet as a birthday gift and I must say, best addition to my kitchen ever! Recently, my soap dispenser broke after a little over two years and i am looking for a replacement for just the plastic bottle attachment part. The price for the entire pump is too expensive. please help.

Great soap dispenser
This is a wonderful soap dispenser. The lines of it are pleasing to the eye. The soap doesn't get clogged as it has in dispensers that are not designed as well.

Purchase 8 months ago and broken!!!!! Ugh!!!!
I purchased a Delta Charmaine Single Handle kitchen faucet with a soap dispenser. Having this soap dispenser clears my counters and has the soap readily available while prepping meals. The soap dispenser started to become wobbly on top and one day broke! It's made of a plastic that doesn't seem sturdy for pumping. I came to this web site to look for a replacement and I see that there are other problems with the pump breaking!!!! Now I need to purchase another and they don't come inexpensive!!!! I'm now debating on purchasing a Delta replacement. I wanted to replace with the same finish as the faucet. Faucet is great but I'm really unhappy with Delta's soap dispenser. It didn't even last a year!!!!!

Seems Functional
Installed 6 days ago and it is working as designed. The plastic bottle holding the soap appears to hold about 13 oz is is too small as it requires more frequent refills through the top and they are usually a little messy as well as inconvenient. Why Delta does not provide or even offer a larger bottle is simply a mystery because their competition certainly does.

Perfect for the space
Installers accidentally drilled an extra hole in the bath countertop. I had to put something in the space (long sink with 2 faucets). This dispenser works great and was easy to install.

Third time replacing this!!!
Love the look but not happy with the performance. The plastic breaks if someone pushes down too far forward on the pump. Not happy to have to spend on another replacement but forced to if we want it to match the faucet.

Should hold up better
As a designer and consumer I have mixed feelings. The faucet and soap dispenser look great but the faucet is now dripping after only 2 years and the soap dispenser is broken. Have used Delta products in projects I designed but this is the first for myself. It is also hard to find replacement parts in stores. Need a new soap pump but having a hard time finding one.

Delta Soap Dispenser
We bought the Delta High-Rise Pull-Down Kitchen and Bar/Prep Faucet with Soap/Lotion dispenser last April (2015)when we remodeled our kitchen. We love the faucet, but the soap/lotion dispenser no longer works properly. When you press down to pump the soap it sticks and then you have to manually pull it back up before pumping again. Right now it is just there for looks, as we are currently using bottled hand soap. I bought the soap dispenser to avoid extra clutter around the sink.

Works perfect.
Bought two of these for handsoap and lotion, to add to the one that came with the new delta faucet which we use for dishsoap. Pumps less than the Pfister one we replaced, but that's actually better because you generally don't need more than one pump. Ideally, the bottle would hold more, but it's ok.

Can't Believe They Made this of Plastic
We built a new home two years ago, and I got the Addison Touch2O faucet with this soap dispenser. Have had some minor problems with the faucet, but this soap dispenser has progressively worked worse since we've had it. I assumed when I ordered it, it would be made of metal. We are custom home builders, and I've been too lazy to go to the supply house and order something else. I had a Grohe at my last house, and it pumped with a light touch. It's irritating that the nozzle is so short too. If you want to pump soap into a pot it has to be held right up against the quartz countertop.

Soap pump does not work disappointed! !
Love the style of faucet and soap dispenser but I have this less then a year and soap dispenser dos not pump it gets stuck. I've tried cleaning it soaking in vinegar and water and nothing. . Very annoying

Top part broke
We purchased this and the plastics piece that holds the pump in position broke. It's two post looking parts located on the inside of the top part of the pump - they just broke. So now the pump is not sitting correctly.. I don't want to purchase the entire thing again just to fix that...

They Really Stand Behind Their Products
We own a Pilar Delta kitchen faucet along with the matching soap/ lotion dispenser. After 3+ years of heavy use, the press down top had broken internally and the finish had worn away at the top of the base. After deciding to buy another, I noticed that the product description also included "Lifetime Faucet and Finish Warranty." I, then called Delta and spoke to, Jasmine, a customer service representative. She asked me email pictures of the damage. After about four business days, I received a brand new replacement. I couldn't be more pleased.

Cheaply made product
I have just ordered the third soap dispenser for this faucet set. Have had the faucet set for approx. 5 years. Everything except the soap dispenser is great. It is cheaply made and the dispenser top breaks off from use. If it did not match the faucet I would not buy another one. Will probably only use the new one for looks and not to dispense soap.

Very unexpected cheap Delta product
Since becoming a home owner over 35 years ago I have used Delta facets in my baths and kitchens. The reason great quality and extremely long life. Not so true with the purchase of my last Delta kitchen set. The faucet is again what i expect from Delta but the soap dispenser is cheap plastic and I mean cheap. Came in with a piece scratched and fortunately a local supplier had a free replacement part for me from an open box. less than a year later it has failed again and the spout connection has broken in to several pieces again due to cheap plastic. Summary Delta you make great faucets please put the same Delta quality into the accessories. Would not recommend any of the soap dispensers if they are the cheap plastic stick with the metal types.

I love the faucet, but the soap dispenser is stuck and will not pump soap.
I have used the pump since April of 2010. It has worked well until a month ago. I really like the faucet and it has held up really well. It is attractive and the pump was so useful. I miss using it daily. I wonder how long the warranty is in effect. I don't want to pay $40.50 for this part.

plastic construction is a disappointment
I like having the soap/lotion dispenser. I have had it for about 3 months & so far it is working fine, but I have over-filled it each time. I have looked for the capacity on the web-site but have not found it. It would be helpful to have that info available.

Poorly designed dispenser breaks in <1 year
Replaced two kitchen faucets about a year ago and both soap dispenser nozzles broke. The cheap plastic parts in the nozzle become brittle and broke.

can a cream type lhan soap be used with this dispenser?

Thank you for your question. Our Delta Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam.

How to refill the bottle
Can't simply pour soap into top... it just overflows. Do you make some easy way to handle this?
Thank you for your question. We do recommend filling your soap dispenser from the top to prevent bottle breakage from taking the bottle on and off. We do offer a funnel that may make it easier when filling your soap dispenser from the top. Delta Faucet model # RP30395 can be purchased at your local retailer or wholesaler.

Soap Dispenser Instructions RP50781 - does black gasket (part #4) go on top of sink or underneath?
Picture shows gasket above sink, but instructions state to put through hole in sink - which is correct?

Is there a replacement pump replacement that uses foaming soap?
I have a new Delta kitchen faucet that came with this soap dispenser and would like to replace just the pump portion so I could use foaming soap that foams when pumping into my hand.

Thank you for your question. The RP47888 is the only pump made for the Delta RP50781 Soap/Lotion Dispenser. Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. We do not recommend foaming soaps, because Delta soap/lotion dispensers are not designed to release foam from them.

I need a replacement soap dispenser bottle for my faucet 4353-AR-DST. Is there a part number?
Also, the handle on mine does not look like the one in the parts list that is shown on this website. See photo.
Hi Tracy, Thank you for your question. The 4353-AR-DST was not offered with a soap dispenser. Only the (SS) brilliance stainless 4353-SSSD-DST, and the chrome 4353-SD-DST came with the soap dispenser. Based on your photograph the soap dispenser pictured is not a Delta product.
