Not quite a home run.
I bought this as one item in a collection of parts to convert my shower control from the old plastic crystal ball knob to a new metal lever handle. This is the piece that actually controls the water flow for both hot and cold water. My wife and I are both finding it more difficult to adjust the water temperature to our liking with this part. The slightest movement of the lever can change from icy cold to scalding hot, making it very hard to find a comfortable medium. We're hoping that as we use it more we can learn to adjust it better. We still like the complete new setup much better than the old one and will not change it back.

What cam and assembly goes with this ball? I could not locate any info anywhere that gives the part number for the proper cam & packing.
Delta 600 Series Tub Faucet Handle Conversion
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP20111 is used when switching from a knob to a lever handle. This will use the model # RP61 cam and packing.

What lever handles would go with this conversion ball?
Thank you for your question, Mike! The RP20111 conversion ball will work with any lever handle that uses a set screw on the side. Typically, the 600 series used the RP17443 handle assembly.

Is there a reverse version of this ball? Using A RP54870SS conversion kit for an existing 600 series valve, the supplied ball reverses the hot and cold. Facing the valve, my hot is plumbed on the left as it is supposed to be. Cannot reverse the ball.

Thank you for your question. There is not a reverse version of the Delta RP20111 ball assembly. Please make sure when installing the ball assembly that the 4 holes are installed up and the bigger hole on the ball assembly is installed at the bottom.

Which Cam do you use with the RP20111. Kit RP3614 has two types of cams. I have a lever handle in my shower.

Delta RP4993 reverses the hot/cold disbursement. Therefore, turning the handle clockwise produces hot water and counter produces cold. This is the opposite of how the valve previ.dispensedwater & doesn’t alignwith theH & C onthetrim. Need ball to reverse
Would this work to change from T13422-PD to basically any other Delta shower handle? I’m hoping to swap from the old pull/turn to a simple handle. Thanks!

Our Delta Faucet Conversion Ball - 1H Bathroom To Lever Handle MODEL#: RP20111 would not work to update your older pull/turn handle to the T13422-PD. Delta Faucet has not manufactured a shower with a pull handle, in order to properly change to a new Delta trim we would advise you to replace the rough valve as well. I have included a link to the rough below, then any T13/14, T17, or 17T shower trim would fit.

What is the part number for a kit for the original handle. I want to keep the knob handle .

I would like to replace my tub/shower faucet using this type of ball assembly. What delta shower/tub faucet models currently are compatible with this? Is there another type of cartridge that would fit in my wall that I could replace this with?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP20111.
This ball assembly is used by 600 series shower faucets. 600 series is discontinued, but we carry the RP54870 renovation kit to update a 600 series shower.
