Everything was fine but shipping was a little expensive for a part that could have been mailed. That's why I order two. Now if I could figure out how to change them in the faucet without wrecking it. No installation instructions.

Do I need a plumber to install seats, springs & quad rings for my Monitor 1700 series shower control or are there installation instructions or videos?

Below is a link to our how-to video that will show the procedure to remove the temperature knob, handle, cartridge, as well as the seats/springs with quad seals. Does the RP46463 cartridge assembly include the RP46073 adapter assembly or do they need to be ordered separately?

Will this repair kit work with a delta Victorian faucet?

Thank you for your question! The Delta Seats, Springs, Quad Rings RP28603 is a repair kit would install in a Victorian 1700 series Shower or Tub and Shower faucet install prior to 2006.

Why are there four rings, two of which are connected and two unconnected? My shower had only the two connected rings when I took it apart.

Thank you for your question! This kit works with 1500 series and 1700 series units. Older versions used rings that were not connected. Please only use the quad-seals that match the ones that were previously installed.

Will RP28603 fit with stem unit assembly RP55213? If not, which set would?

Thank you for your question. The Seats and Springs RP4993 will work with the stem assembly RP25513. The RP28603 go with the 1700 series cartridge RP32104 for shower and tub/shower faucets.
