I need the replacement tub faucet that screws on this adaptor

Asked by: BigBass
Hi BigBass, Thank you for your question. The RP5834 tub spout should be the replacement that you need. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/rp5834.html?showPhotoGallery=false Thanks, Dave

Are any faucets available that use this adapter and have a hose outlet built in?

We have a faucet now that has a diverter built in but doesn't have a hose outlet for a hand sprayer. Do you offer anything that uses the same adapter?
Asked by: JCS290
Hi JCS90, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately none of our tub spouts that have the hand shower outlet use the RP33794 or RP12307 adapters. The models U1010-PK and U1072-PK both offer a slip on feature. Thanks, Dave

Will the RP33794 fit the tub spout that comes with the 144996-BN

Asked by: Ken
Hi Ken, Thank you for your question. The RP33794 does not fit the RP61357BN tub spout that comes in the model 144996-BN tub/shower faucet. The pipe connection on the RP61357BN is in the nose of the spout. Thanks, Dave

slip on adapter doesn't have screw or hole for screw. Does it need to be soldered?

Recently purchased Mandara 144962-ss tub / shower set. It came with what I believe is a brass slip on adapter. It seems to fit snuggly on the 1/2 inch copper pipe. Though I can't determine how to secure adapter to the pipe. Does it need to be soldered or as the name suggests, does it just slip on? All the images I have found online show a slip on adapter that has a hole for a small screw to secure it. The one I have is just a solid piece all around with no hole to secure it. Though there was a tiny screw and allen wrench in the plastic bag, just no where to put it. Thank you.
Asked by: Blake
Hi Blake, Thank you for your question! The tub spout for your unit comes with the RP12307 adapter, which can be sweat on 1/2" copper pipe or threaded onto 1/2" IPS. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp12307.html The RP33794 can be purchased separately to use with your tub spout if you prefer a slip on application. Best regards, Jon

How does this adapter seal to the copper pipe?

Since this adapter uses a set screw and is not sweated on, does it have an internal o-ring that seals the adapter to the copper pipe?
Asked by: Chris
Hi Chris, Thank you for your question! The adapter does have an internal o-ring that seals to the copper pipe. Thanks, Jon
