Is the diameter of the internal hole the same for base RP 25548 and RP 34832 the same? What is diameter for RP 25548
Thank you for your question, caro! RP25548 has an internal diameter on the beveled top is 1.6" and on the bottom opening the diameter is 1.98". This is not not interchangeable with RP34832 base however.

Can the gasket alone be purchased?
If so, what is the part number? I was in process of changing out a counter top and one of the gaskets was lost.

which base goes with these handles?
I have a set of H216RB handles for the victorian kitchen faucet 2256-RB, but I need the base and gaskets for the spout and the handles. Does RP53882 fit the spout, and which base fits the H216RB handles, is it RP62474 or RP34832? Thank you
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model 2256 has been available in two different styles. Those are DST and non-DST. The bases are different part numbers. To tell if you have a DST model, look underneath your cabinet, and if you have pex supply lines, then you have a DST model.
If you have a DST model, the handle base is Delta Faucet model # RP53882RB, and the spout base is model # RP53882RB.
If you have copper lines underneath and a non-DST model, then the spout base is Delta Faucet model # RP37025RB and the handle base is model number RP34832RB.

What is the recommended procedure for removing the widespread base to replace it? If it is just turning it counterclockwise, how do I get a grip on it? I had a failed cartridge, so everything has rust or deposit buildup. Thanks.

Thank you for your question. The base assembly is usually mounted on the sink by silicon sealant. We recommend taking something flat to pry this off of the sink. Please be sure to be gentle so that no damage comes to your counter top or the rest of the faucet.

Which number is nickel?
Hi Pat, Thank you for your question. The RP34832SS is our brilliance stainless finish that is closely related to brushed nickel. The PN polished nickel, and NN brilliance pearl nickel finishes in this item are no longer available.
