replacement part

This is broken, and now just pulls straight out. I want to make sure it doesnt also need an accompanying ring? or some time of ring for the part it drops into? ITs simply pulling straight out, as though something were once catching this Diverter, allowing to stand up alone?
Asked by: monika
Hi Monika, Thank you for your question. The RP41504RB lift rod has a threaded end that screws into the RP40668 diverter assembly located under the roman tub spout. If the threads on the lift rod are damaged or missing you will want to replace the rod. If the rod is in good shape try screwing it back into the diverter. You may have to remove the spout to check the condition of the threads on the diverter assembly as well. Thanks, Dave

How do I remove the spout?

Asked by: Glmgolf
Hi, Gimgolf! Thank you for your question. First, we recommend to shut off the water to the tub unit. Next, take a 1/8" allen wrench to unscrew the set screw in the back of the tub spout to remove. Once you remove the set screw, you can remove the spout assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the length of this item? The one that came with my tub is 7 inches long. When I do research seems that the only ones I can find are 5 1/2 long. I need the 7 inch long lift rod.

Asked by: Raymond Bud Smith

Lift rod is 3.5” from base of knob to end of threads. It’s a Delta Roman tub faucet but I don’t know model number. The threads on lift rod are worn and don’t thread into the diverted valve. What is the replacement model number I need?
