Beautiful chrome.
You have to be careful but I installed this in 20 minutes. I mostly just used my hands without crawing under the sink. You have to pull the water lines back from the center nut in order to use the wrench I used my hand to thread it on almost to hand tight then used the wrench this was the Delta Leland kitchen fauchet 9178-DST

Escutcheon gasket was leaky
Bought this faucet about 3 years ago. Like another review said, the escutcheon plate is kind of flimsy, so the faucet does flex a teeny bit. Not rock solid. But the foam gasket on the bottom started leaking on the right side of the faucet. Delta no questions asked sent me a replacement escutcheon plate with all the parts. I had forgotten how this was put on, and realized I should have asked for a replacement foam gasket for the neck that sits in the middle. I ended up just putting a ring of plumber's putty around it and having my wife hang on to it while I snugged things up, then wiped off excess. No leaks anymore. I fear though after another couple of years I may end up with the same problem. I think what is happening is tugging on the faucet to get the sprayer to wash dishes is ever so slowly causing friction between escutcheon plate gasket and sink, eventually wearing down the gasket (I could be wrong here). Didn't want to use silicon, because that's going to be a disaster when you need to remove temporarily to do maint, etc.

Escutcheon tab breaks in 2 years
I do like the delta faucet, but it had grown wobbly and the metal plate got scratched. Took it apart and a small, cheap PLASTIC tab on the escutcheon was broken. SHOCKER.
Come on delta. You make a nice faucet and hold it in place with cheap plastic tabs.

Brittle Tabs easily Break
Right around the time the warranty expires, (or sooner), the plastic tab on this is quite likely to break, causing the whole faucet to twist around and loosen. It's a poor design choice. And it's $78+ to replace, with extra unneeded hardware.

Flimsy metal
So I purchased the sink faucet because of its sleek design but was not pleased to have to also purchase the escutcheon, which Delta included with a previous kitchen sink faucet. After installation I've found the faucet wobbles and the escutcheon flexes. I would recommend buying a faucet that includes the escutcheon to avoid this issue. Delta sells itself short with this kind of quality.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Nura 15710-DST model comes with an optional 6 3/4" escutcheon plate RP71034 (3 hole install). We do not make 10" escutcheon plates RP47274 for lavatory faucets.

Will this work with the Trinsic Series?
I'm wanting to purchase the Delta Trinsic Series 1-Handle Bar and Prep Faucet (Model #: 9959-AR-DST) and I'm needing a 10" escutcheon. Is this escutcheon compatible with the Trinsic series? If not, is there another one you would recommend that is 10"?

Does the 9178-AR-DST P/D Kit come with a 10" escusion plate?

Is it possible to get just the undercover plate without the escutcheon? Tabs on plate broke during installation. Estutcheon is fine.

Is there a smaller version of the black plastic part?
I bought a Delta Arc Spotshield Stainless faucet at Lowe's but it only came with an 8" center Escutcheon. I need a 6" center bracket. Where can I get this?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a base plate for 6" center holes. However, you could use a single-hoe installation along with a soap dispenser or hole cover (RP3816 or RP52397PC) on the other two holes.

Will this escutcheon work with Victorian single handle faucet 554LF-RB or 555LF-RB as want to replace Delta Victorian Venetian Bronze 3 piece I currently have and desire to change to a one handle. My handles measure 10" outside to outside.

Does this Escutcheon fits all Delta lav faucets?
have D538 Lahara lav faucet in chrome. Need a 10" chrome escutcheon plate to cover existing faucet holes. Could this 10" escutcheon be used with this faucet?

There is only an optional 6 1/2 in escutcheon for the 538 model. We do not carry a 10 in escutcheon for the model and the RP47274 will not fit.

I bought the 19957z-sped-dst, with an escutcheon that has 3 holes 4” apart, I.e, between shanks is 8”. My existing sink has 3 holes 5” apart so I need distance between shanks equal to 10 “. Do you offer that? If so what is part number? I need chrome.

The VALDOSTA® Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 19957Z-SPSD-DST is a 1, 2, 3, or 4-hole 8" installation. Unfortunately, it cannot use a 10" escutcheon.

What all kitchen faucet models is compatible with this 10" escutcheon RP47274?
I have A Delta Essa 9913-BL-DST Faucet for my wet bar. I have a three hole faucet installed currently but the holes (Hot and Cold) are only 4" apart. The recommended escutcheon plate are 8" apart. Please verify that the RP47274BL will work? Thank you!
