Poor Quality
The delta touch faucet is very nice, but the soap dispenser is made of very poor quality and the design is also not good. After using this moderately for a year - the plastic that holds the top piece in place broke. The soap dispenser should be designed to take this pressure on its head as its the only moving part and that being designed poorly is not that I expected.

Excellent service and replacement works great!
Soap dispenser RP50781RB was installed into our new home and would not pump more than a drop after pumping several times. With the help of Jessica from customer service I received a replacement pump which has worked perfectly for the last month. A single pump now provides enough Dawn to make our Dobie pad nice and soapy!

This soap dispenser came with the delta faucet I bought and broke within a year of installation
The top of the dispenser broke off after about 13 months of moderate usage. It is just my wife and myself at home and it broke when she was using it. This is a poor quality product to be sold by delta and I am very disappointed. I have a generic dispenser on my garage sink and it is about 5 years old.

Better than I expected!
I bought this about a month or so ago, along with a Delta faucet and I was pleasantly surprised. After reading some reviews, I was slightly worried. Time will tell if it holds up to my expectations.

11946 - Soap Dispenser Does not work
Like many others our soap dispenser has gotten worse and worse and now just doesn't work.
I have cleaned. Soaked in hot water to get rid of soap but doesn't seem to help.
Will try and call delta tomorrow.
The faucet looks nice but is light weight plastic. Spent hundreds of dollars on this.

Soap dispenser pump will not pump
I also bought the combination Delta faucet and soap dispenser for our kitchen remodel and have experienced the same issue with the soap dispenser as so many others. The faucet has worked great but the pump quit working after a few weeks. It looks great but just froze up and would not pump the soap.

Really nice looking with the faucet, but never really worked
Same as most others, the pump only worked for a few months, then it was very sporadic....now not working at all. I've taken it apart, thoroughly cleaned all parts, reprimed the pump, but still no soap comes out. I hate to have to buy another pump because I'm not sure I'll find on the that matches the faucet. Any suggestions??

Need replacement due to failure of pump - RP50781SS
We have had this now for 3 plus years and after experiencing a "slow down" in the pump it finally broke. Overall very happy with the unit. Hoping for a replacement to be sent... of course I should have known that CS is not open on a Sunday :# I plan to reach out to them on Monday if they don't reach out to me first.
Also have an additional question on the single handle faucet - it tends to turn because it will not stay tight against the granite! Is there a trick or component that will allow me to tighten so it will not turn #stay snug#. Afraid of over tightening and cracking the granite.
Will follow up with another review after speaking with CS.

Faucet great. Soap dispenser terrible.
One of our dispensers stopped working within six months. Very frustrating. Also, the pump action is very weak in general. (For the one still working) We chose this model based on the low profile and clean lines. It's too bad.

Soap Dispenser doesn't work
Sounds like we have the same problem as "Techlore" our soap dispenser required 6 to 10 pumps to get 1 drop and now it doesn't work at all. We built our house two years ago and had the touch faucet installed along with the soap dispenser. The faucet is great, love being able to touch it and have it turn on or off. Soap dispenser is useless we now have to keep our Dawn bottle next to the sink.

Great soap dispenser
I love the Delta soap dispenser and have not had any problems with the one in my current home. However, I just had another one installed in a new home build and apparently the white plastic tube portion got thrown away by the install crew. I have not had any success finding a replacement for it without having to purchase an entire new dispenser unit. I wish there was a way to just replace just the plastic piece and tube. Other than that, I have been very pleased with the faucet.

Not as nice as the picture
Although the soap dispenser works fine, it is not as nice as it looks in the picture. The dispenser is klunky and flat looking. In fact I almost thought it wasn't the same one that I ordered. It's just okay.

Very disappointed
I purchased this soap dispenser to replace one similar that failed to work after only 30 days. This one worked for less than 1 week. Different installers, different manufacturer, same problem! My handyman says they frequently fail to work.
The matching faucet works great and looks beautiful. Only the soap dispenser is a problem.
If you are planning a kitchen remodel, DO NOT INSTALL A SOAP DISPENSER. I cut the hole in my granite so I am stuck with it.

The faucet is good the dispenser is bad
I purchased the Linden faucet which I love, and I got the soap dispenser too. I really didn't want the dispenser but it came with the faucet. I had the soap dispenser installed, and it worked great for about 7 months, and after that the darn thing snaps. I checked the dispenser top and it's just cheap plastic which snapped off, and the hose part just slide out. Trying to find a replacement part in a store is becoming impossible. Yah $40 is too much to pay for only the pump part, and then having to pay for shipping. <Sigh> major disappointed.

Spout too short
The spout needs to be lengthened. If the pot or dish is not placed directly against the side of the sink, soap is squirted on the side of the sink.

Incredibly Cheap
Do not buy these soap dispensers. They materials they are made with are incredibly cheap. All cheap plastic. I bought 8 for the public bathrooms in my hotel and in 5 months I have had 4 of them break. Save your money and get something else

A simple but pleasant accessory
This soap dispenser is a simple but pleasant to have accessory. Purchasers of our homes enjoy having the soap dispenser at the kitchen sink. It also compliments a matching arching single lever kitchen faucet plus adds that little piece of bling to the kitchen.

Good product
Along with many others, I received a unit that broke down. Mine lasted over 3 years. But people, come on, there is a lifetime warranty. A 5-minute call will get a new one on the way. This unit has served me well in the time it worked. The thing is 100% plastic, so I’m not expecting miracles. However, a company the size of Delta should test their products a bit better before shipping them. This is actually the 2nd item I’ve had to get replaced. However, it is a no-hassle replacement process. I’m surprised that so many people left poor comments without contacting Delta for a free replacement. Due to this hassle-free replacement process, I will continue to buy Delta products.

Cheap soap dispenser
I bought this soap dispenser to coordinate with a new Delta faucet. It is called "artic stainless" in the description. That strictly refers to the color. There is no stainless metal in the dispenser. Instead, it feels like cheap plastic. It looks good until you feel it. Light weight. This is not acceptable when you use it with new granite countertops and a high quality faucet. This one's going back.

Great faucet / poor soap dispenser
I have the same issue with the soap dispenser as so many others. I purchased my faucet with soap dispenser for a kitchen remodel. It worked for one year but now will not pump soap. The pump is stuck in the down position. I am very happy with the faucet but apparently the soap dispenser has design flaws or is of poor quality. That is a shame since the Delta name had always been a symbol of quality.

Great, sturdy soap pump - replaced grohe
This Delta soap dispenser replaced my second Grohe soap pump that failed. I have stainless faucet and it matches nicely. So far it's performing well and I'd give it five stars, but I have to see if the spring/pumping action wears out in less than 2 years like the Grohe has. No complaints right now though!

can a cream type lhan soap be used with this dispenser?

Thank you for your question. Our Delta Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam.

How to refill the bottle
Can't simply pour soap into top... it just overflows. Do you make some easy way to handle this?
Thank you for your question. We do recommend filling your soap dispenser from the top to prevent bottle breakage from taking the bottle on and off. We do offer a funnel that may make it easier when filling your soap dispenser from the top. Delta Faucet model # RP30395 can be purchased at your local retailer or wholesaler.

Soap Dispenser Instructions RP50781 - does black gasket (part #4) go on top of sink or underneath?
Picture shows gasket above sink, but instructions state to put through hole in sink - which is correct?

Is there a replacement pump replacement that uses foaming soap?
I have a new Delta kitchen faucet that came with this soap dispenser and would like to replace just the pump portion so I could use foaming soap that foams when pumping into my hand.

Thank you for your question. The RP47888 is the only pump made for the Delta RP50781 Soap/Lotion Dispenser. Soap Dispensers can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. We do not recommend foaming soaps, because Delta soap/lotion dispensers are not designed to release foam from them.

I need a replacement soap dispenser bottle for my faucet 4353-AR-DST. Is there a part number?
Also, the handle on mine does not look like the one in the parts list that is shown on this website. See photo.
Hi Tracy, Thank you for your question. The 4353-AR-DST was not offered with a soap dispenser. Only the (SS) brilliance stainless 4353-SSSD-DST, and the chrome 4353-SD-DST came with the soap dispenser. Based on your photograph the soap dispenser pictured is not a Delta product.
