Rated 3 out of 5 by from True Delta Part?? I found this same generic part at the local hardware store for less after shipping, but didn't get it because I was looking for a true Delta part that said "Delta" on it (so it would match the other sink). I kept it, put it in a bathroom with a single sink, and moved the matching Delta one to the 2-sink bathroom. It looks fine, just was looking for a real match.

What are the dimensions of RP5648? I tried the link, provided by Brandis, but it went to a general Service & Parts page. I'm looking for the diameter and height of the stopper.

Asked by: Bob H
Hello Bob H, Thank you for your question. The threaded portion of the flange is 1 3/8" and the top surface diameter is 2 1/8". This assembly should work with a 1 1/2" diameter drain. However, the depth of the hole must be 1 5/8" to 2 3/8". This stopper will have two loops, with one at 4" and on at 5". Best regards, Tanya

Can a 2 hole stopper replace a 1 hole stopper?

My faucet has a one hole stopper that looks like the RP5648BN. However, my faucet is chrome. And the chrome finish stopper RP5648 has 2 holes and does not look like my stopper. Should I get a slightly different looking stopper or a slightly different looking finish? Will the 2 hole stopper even work if my sink currently uses a 1 hole stopper? If not, will a stopper in a brilliance brushed nickel finish go with my chrome faucet?
Asked by: DB
Hi DB, Thank you for your question. The RP5648 when ordered as a replacement part will always have the 2 holes. This stopper is used in multiple drain types, some of which use the 1 hole and some that use the 2 holes. If you currently have a 1 hole you will need to cut off the 2nd hole to work with your drain assembly. The stopper has an indicator of where to cut. Thanks, Dave

does this work with adiwon single fct 792-ss-dst

Asked by: marianne
Hi, Marianne! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP5648BN Stopper Assembly will not fit with the Delta 792-SS-DST Faucet as the stopper will need a lift rod to operate, which the faucet does not. We recommend a push pop up drain assembly such as the 72173-SS. Here is a link to this option: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=72173-SS Best Regards, Rosanna

Delta Stopper 1 3/8 by 4"

The part I have to replace looks exactly like that, except it's 4" long, not 5" long. What would be the correct part number?
Asked by: N
Hi N, Thank you for your question. The stopper for our plastic pop-up assemblies are 4" long. This stopper will have two loops, with one at 4" and on at 5". Thanks, Jon

We have Cassidy polished nickel faucet and drains. Does this come in polished nickel? Is another finish term the same as polished nickel? If not what should purchase?

Asked by: Dennis Mac
Hi, Dennis Mac! Thank you for your question. We no longer have the RP5648 available in the Polished Nickel finish. We do have the RP26533 in Polished Nickel, if needed. Here is a link to the unit: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP26533PN Best Regards, Rosanna

How do you remove the stopper to clean the drain?

I have attempted to rotate the stopper while open and it does not disengage from the lever arm.
Asked by: Dennis
Yes, a stopper does have to be removeable in order to clean the gunk that collects on the underside of the stopper and underneath. Delta Customer Service by phone says that although the tailpipe is connected to the lift rod assembly, this stopper can indeed be twisted off in the sink for cleaning purposes. Either Delta has changed the design since a rep answered this question a while back, or CS is wrong. Need to know before purchasing!

I have a stopper that has a stopper cap (the part plugging up the drain) that is only 1.25" in diameter. The four flanges that go down into the drain must be smaller than usual, because I've picked up a couple of universal-sized kits and they're toogbih

Asked by: Robin
Hello Robin, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Stopper assembly RP5648PT is designed to work with the RP23060PT flange. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP23060PT Best regards, Tanya
