Rated 1 out of 5 by from I Had to return it. I had to return it because in the picture it shows a center hole for the diverter but there was none. Further research with Delta revealed that it is no longer made, etc.

Are the screw holes at a 5 - 7 o'clock position?

Does this escutcheon come with screws and the two gaskets? Thanks

Asked by: Tim
Screws have to be ordered separately. Delta gave me part number RP196 for the chrome screws (I haven't received them yet to confirm they are the right ones). The escutcheon has two gaskets attached to it, one for the smaller diameter inner hole and a piece of foam for the inside of the outer edge. Good luck!

Is this piece flat?

If you were to set it on a flat surface, while the inner ring where the screw holes are located touches the surface, would the outer circumference be touching the surface also? In other words, is the inner ring lower/deeper?
Asked by: Zyeme
My experience is inconsistent with the reply you received from Brandis at Delta. I was also told the same thing by Delta when I called them last week. When I explained what follows below to the person on the phone, they were unable to understand me. I had previously ordered the chrome RP5883 escutcheon to replace an old gold one (part number unknown-Delta really should put part numbers on their parts it would save a lot of hand waving over the phone). I actually ordered RP5883 twice by mistake from different sources; the parts I received were the same. > Photo A: You can see the outer edge of old goldie is above the counter surface while the edge of the inner opening rests on the counter. Both the inner and outer edges of the new chrome one would be flush with the surface if the foam gasket behind the outer rim were not there. But if you look closely, you can still tell the chrome one sits lower than the gold one. > Photo B: Edge view. > Photo C: Undersides. I am now ordering RP7577, confusingly described by Delta as the "shallow" version of this escutcheon, which might be the one I need. Or I might just spray paint the whole shower a nice shade of brown.

Do you have the shower handle that is compatible with the RP1991 faucet cartridge? Which one is it?

Asked by: Luis512
Hello Luis512, Thank you for your question! I am happy to assist you! The Delta RP1991 cartridge has a stem unit that is shaped to fit the 1600 series and 1300/1400/13/14 series shower handles. A common 13/14 series handle kit to use is H74 with the A74 accent. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

How do I identify the model/part number? I have a Delta from 1972 when the house was built. I need the escutcheon. The brass casting in the wall has 249 stamped on the upper left next to the 'up' . It would need a center hole of 1.8 "
