Does not lay flat
This product does not lay flat on the wall like other metal hoses. It kind of holds its shape and curls out at the bend. I believe the description or answers say it is metal but it doesn't seem like it. If there is metal in the hose it is very little and it is covered in plastic. I would not recommend it if you are use to a higher end metal hose that is truly ultra flexible. Other than that the hose is fine, the connections work, it had all its seals, and it came very quickly in the mail.

Fantastic product. Fantastic service
This was the only place I could find this this item. The customer service people were wonderful helping me to Confirmed that this hose would work on the Delta unit that was installed in my home in 2010. I will definitely come back if I need more parts for this unit.

Disappointed
I ordered a shower hose (Delta) to go In my clients Master bath. I priced around and compared all aspects. But I matched up the color for her ok.... And I get it today and it's almost opposite color then we needed. It doesn't even come close to what the picture shows.. now I'm going to have to go through this all again.

Shower hose broke
I bought a Delta hand held shower kit and the plastic hose broke causing water to spay all over the bathroom. I was very disappointed since it was one of the plastic fittings on the hose that broke. These fittings should be made of metal so they will last.

Broken Hose
We have many Delta products throughout our home, and have been very pleased with each until recently. The 1st issue we experienced was having to replace the internal cartridge to control temperature in our shower. Delta was quick to respond and replace within a couple days at no charge. Now, the hose setup (wall stand) for our particular model does not extend far enough from the wall and has caused a kink in the hose. That kink has finally caused the house to break. It lasted 4+ years which is pretty good. I purchased a cheap $20 replacement at a large warehouse-its definitely not the same.

Hose Kinks
Have had the product for 6 years now. Noticed right off the 57021 series slide bar really does not stand off from the wall enough causing the hose to be close to the wall and created a kink. Now I have low pressure at the shower head and am gonna have to replace the hose at a high price, Wouldn't take much to make it fit better.

Best shower hose ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a contractor, specializing in bathrooms and kitchens. Custom tile showers are something I pride myself in, and I will only use delta faucet components and use this flex hose exclusively for my shower systems. No one wants a stiff plastic hose , and these delta ultra flex hoses are amazing. Don't sell yourself short on your shower system. A must have for any shower system.

NEW HOME DELTA PACKAGE!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!
My home is 4 years old, complete brilliance package. What a joke! I would rather have any from Wal-Mart before this!! What a waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my 3rd plastic piece of junk hose.. s

GREAT PRODUCT
Not only did I buy two of the hand held shower hose, but I also bought two of the hand held shower heads as well. I was replacing two hand held shower heads and the old hose did not fit the new heads. The hose is very nice quality. It is not a flimsy hose.

Solid and improved replacement
The hose on our handheld shower had worn badly at the point where it attaches to the wall. This new hose is much heavier and was a bit too stiff in the beginning, but it has relaxed and looks and works well now. It is obvious that the original hose was not up to the normal wear and tear of use, but this one has been dramatically improved and should last a number of years.

Quality Hose
My previous hose broke at the connection point for the handheld shower piece. This one is made of a much sturdier material. I do not expect that to be a problem. Also, my previous hose leaks at both connection points after only a short time in use. I have been using this one for more than a month now. There is absolutely no leaking at any of the connection points. The first few days the hose wanted to stay curled as it was in packaging. That was short lived and it has hung properly since about day four.

Not A Metal Hose
With today's online technology, a black & white picture for an $80+ item is simply unacceptable. You can't tell what you're really buying. So, let me tell you that this item looks identical to part # U490R-PB70-PK. It is also made of the same material: a vinyl hose covered with a plastic-like sheath of the appropriate color (in this case, polished brass). It is NOT a metal hose. Calling is "Ultra Flex" is misleading. It is nowhere near as flexible as a full metal hose. It will NOT lie flat on your shower wall. It retains some of its curve even after repeated uses with hot water. On the plus side, it is guaranteed for life so it should be the last shower hose you buy. Consider purchasing U490R-PB70-PK instead and save yourself $25. To me, they are essentially the same product.

Is this the same hose that comes with the TESLA package?
I just remodeled and bought the TESLA kit i SS. The hose it too short. I purchased the Delta RP62865SS from Amazon but the hose is not the same quality as the 60" hose that came with the original TESLA handheld package so I'm returning it. I want a 69" hose in SS with the same quality as the original one. Does this one fit the bill? If not what product does? There has to be a longer hose to replace on a high end product like Tesla.
