You would also need an R11000 valve body, however, we can not recommend using a diverter valve with a tub spout as there could be a reduction in pressure. Hello Steve, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP73365 Trinsic® Metal Lever Handle Kit - Diverter In Chrome. I apologize there is an issue with your diverter. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! The issue is likely caused by common water debris in the diverter valve. I recommend removing the handle, bonnet, and cartridge to clean the valve. Then run the water with the cartridge removed for a couple of minutes. This will shoot water across the shower and clear debris from the valve. Rinse the cartridge and reassemble.
