Please explain how to dismantle the existing hot water handle and install the new one on the bathroom faucet RP78871. Thank you. PDF format booklet with instruction will help

Hi Negoslav, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! To remove the handle please turn off the hot and cold water supply. Hold the lever and rotate the handle base counterclockwise. Lift the handle up and off of the stem unit and you will see the stem and the bonnet nut. Remove the bonnet and lift the stem and seat and spring out of the valve. We appreciate your inquiry. Can either single stem unit RP1740 or two unit kit RP42096 be used as an alternate RP78871? If not, are there any alternate part numbers for the Stem Unit? RP78871 not readily available at Home Depot or Lowes type stores, but many other deltas are?

Can a single stem unit RP1740 replace the stem part of a RP78871?

Can I use this repair kit to fix a dripping Delta kitchen faucet, model 21741LF? The repair kit originally linked to this faucet has been discontinued.

My Delta Pierce ( Model 413763) is dripping on the hot water side. Would this be the correct part?  Would the part be covered under warranty? I think this is less than ten years old--I'd have to check our bathroom remodel date.
