How can I install this finial? I can’t screw it in because it’s too short and the finial touches the faucet.
I figured out how to attach the finial to the diverter assembly. You have to place the diverter assembly into the faucet (while unattached to the tub), and then can screw it into the bottom of the finial (since there is no room for the finial to rotate). Place faucet back onto tub and secure with set screw.
