Rated 1 out of 5 by from Finish peeling I do not recommend this product. This came installed in our brand new house. Less that 3 years in, it is peeling on the hose. Thought Delta was a high quality brand. Guess not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Finish failing after 6 months, AVOID!!! We bought an entire bathroom of Delta faucets, and the shower handle hose started failing after 6 months. It flakes off in various places, not only in places of frequent bending. Worthless, avoid at all costs! See other similar reviews.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy matte black! Finish will flake off. This hose has seen less than 2 years of use and the black paint finish is flaking off. Once it starts in one spot it gets progressively worse. Unless you expect to replace the hose ever 2 years do not buy. This was surprising considering I have soft water.

After 6 months the black finish started to peel and after each use there are more paint chips in the shower to clean up. We are regretting our matte black selections. I am a design engineer involved in major new construction and renovation projects. I will relay my personal experiences to my clients.

Will this fit a shower from 2012?

Will stretchable hose U495-60 PK finish CZ work with 57021-CZ?

How long can this model be and are both ends brass connectors

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # U495D-60-PK is a 60"-82" stretchable metal hose. One end is a conical and the other end is a hex all brass nut.

Does Delta sell a metal hose like this one that is even longer? In a stainless finish?

Hi John, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # U495D-60-PK is a stretchable metal hose that reaches from 60"-82". It is available in the Stainless Steel finish with model number U495D-SS60-PK. We also offer a 69" metal hose in Stainless Steel with model # U495S-69-PK. Thanks. Jody

I had Model # 57021-SS Premium 3-setting slide bar hand shower installed in my new bathroom shower and would like to know if Delta sells an extension hose that will fit this system to allow me to utilize this at the far end of my shower, which is 5 feet.

Hello munch426, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta 60"-80" Hand Shower Hose and I am happy to assist you today. This hand shower hose (model: U495D-SS60-PK) has 1/2" conical connections which are compatible with all of our hand showers. This model can stretch from 60-82" or 2083mm. At this time we do not sell an adapter to connect two hoses together, although this is our longest hose that we currently offer besides our 84" UltraFlex hand shower hose (model: U490R-84-PK). HOW DO YOU STRETCH THE FLEXIBLE HOSE FROM 60-82"?
