Might be a good product
Have had this installed for 2.5 years. Was happy with it the first year but it has gradually gotten to the point where we barely have enough water pressure to wash the shampoo out of our hair. Please advise me on how to clean out sediment or what to do. I am very frustrated with this shower head.

I LOVE this adjustable handheld shower and can't imagine bath time without it!!!!
I just renovated my bathroom and had a handheld showered previously that was mounted to the tub surface. I loved it, but with the hose retracting to beneath the tub, eventually there was some subfloor damage. Problem solved with this surface mounted fixture, and the pole is mounted to a height that allows it to reach the back of the tub when I wash my hair. The champagne bronze finish is lovely, and I remain a committed fan of Delta plumbing fixtures for their quality and warranty.

Happy overall
This is a beautiful addition to the shower. The 3 settings to the shower head are nice to have, although I only use two of the three settings. You twist the shower head to change the settings, which is a clever way to have multiple settings without having some ugly switch or button. The length of the tube is way longer than expected, so you can mount it up pretty high and still be able to use it for things like washing a dog.
If there is a complaint it’s that the mount that holds the hand piece is too small for it. Only maybe 1/2 of an inch of the hand sits down in to its holster (or whatever it’s called), so it gets bumped out frequently, or falls out on its own if it’s put away at an angle where the top-heavy head is pointed too far downward. So far the falls haven’t damaged the unit, but I fear that it’s only time before it does. Otherwise, we are happy with it.

Too close to wall!
There is not enough room between the wall and the slide bar to adjust the the shower head angle downwards. When you try to angle it down it pushes the hose and handle against the wall until the handle comes out of the holder.

weak shower head
Hand held shower has always had low pressure and does not stay in place on the slide bar. It started leaking out the head and does not appear to be rebuildable. The bronze came off the hose with in the first 6 months. Out of 6 Delta fixtures we bought in 2014 when we remodeled our house, this is the only one we were not happy with. For the price I would have expected more longevity.

Design flaw
There is not enough room between the wall and the slide bar to adequately use the shower head. When in use, the shower head needs to angle down which in turn puts a kink in the hose near the base of the handle. The handle then pushes against the wall creating pressure enough to pop the bottom mount from off the wall. To use the shower, I have too keep my squeegee behind the handle to hold it up otherwise the weight from the head is too much to handle and fold down thus cutting off the water pressure. It is a design flaw as there needs to be more room between the wall and the slide bar.

We like the three settings
We have enjoyed this shower package for more than five years. Three settings - soft overall shower, powerful direct massage, and an indirect open flow. The hose assists in shaving legs, and also provides direct aim for a relaxing massage for tired shoulders. We like it, we would buy it again, and we recommend it to others. The finish has held up very well - no discoloration or rust or delamination.

Decent, a little close to the wall, but now leaks
After a couple years of working fine it's now leaking from inside the head. It's only leaking on one of the modes, but its the mode we prefer. I've been looking for a way to repair it, but it looks like I need a new shower head.

Good product except for the shower head bracket
This product was installed by a professional plumber. The bracket that holds the removable hand shower head in position does not work properly (the shower head is too heavy and the shower head tilts downward). The sliding bar bracket stays in place on the bar ... but the bracket part that is supposed to hold the hand shower in place turns and the shower head sprays downward (instead of at an angle). I have to use a clear plastic suction cup holder (placed on the wall) to keep the shower head from tilting downward.

Good product. High quality, attractive, fit and finish is great. BUT, very wimpy water pressure. I have very good water service. Have had other Hand Showers. This one is a 5 on a 10 scale. NO massage here...

The head works fine. But it is too close to the wall. If there are extended brackets that would help. When the head is turned the hose and the end of the head hits the back wall and will knock it out of the cradle.
This was installed by a professional during a shower conversion by Statewide Remodeling.

This shower head has leaked after a few years of wear. The head turns to choose the spray you might want but if you do turn the dial it will leak.
Sadly the shower head selection spray dial leaks so bad all around the black rubber ring we are unable to use the head except on strong message spray. I researched the Delta site only to find no part # or recommendation how to prevent the leak. I would not buy Delta 57021 again.

Thank you for your question. You will need to order a valve only trim of your choice in the (RB) Venetian Bronze finish, a R10000 multichoice rough in valve, a 3 setting diverter trim model that will start with T118, a R11000 diverter rough, a 50570-RB or 50560-RB wall elbow, a ceiling mount shower arm and flange, the rain shower head of your choice, and the 57021-RB slide bar hand shower. The diverter will allow you to operate the shower head separately or both at the same time.

how does the slide mechanism, part #RP64155, come off of the vertical bar

Is it possible to just order the shower head as a replacement part? Ours fell off and broke the piece off that rotates the head to choose which spray you want. It looks like the hand shower 57021-RB Delta but the number on the shower head is A112.18.1M.
