Had to be replaced after 3 years due to hard water
Our 4-year-old home has 7 Ashlyn two-handled center set bath faucets and ALL of them need to be replaced because the city's hard water has destroyed the inner workings/seals. We noticed a leak in one faucet a year ago and replaced it, but a plumbing inspection today found that five of these faucets have leaked and damaged the base cabinet, and all 7 faucets have visible corrosion damage on the pipes. Plumber says the hard water has permanently damaged the pipes inside the faucet, so they can't be "rebuilt" or repaired. I love the look of this faucet, and we had a water softener installed about 6 months ago, before knowing the first leak we discovered was caused by hard water. Not sure what kind of faucet to order now, but wary of this one. Just wanted to alert anyone else who has hard city water that this may not be the best faucet style for you. Our bill will be $1,785 just for labor, not including replacement faucets. So disappointed!

Disappointed in Delta
Loved the look of the Ashlynn bronze however finish started deteriorating soon after installation. Not even two years after install the corrosion is making it difficult to even operate. Maybe just an issue with bronze finish.

Angular Lines Give Modern Update
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted a new look for main bathroom from a previous Delta Chrome/Brass combo from 20 years ago. Difficult to find the 4" centerset faucet that is more stylish. This one meets all the requirements. Installation was done by my husband and not much of an issue with the components all in the box. Minor adjustment needs to be made with the stopper so that it is flush with the faucet, but he did not have any issues with the install overall.

Beautiful Faucet
This is a beautiful and solid faucet. It is almost too big (in reach) for the small, shallow pedestal sink in my tiny bathroom -- but I don't care! It looks beautiful in the Stainless finish -- it is crisp, clean, and architectural. We installed it with the matching tub/shower set and together with the handmade tile surround, they give the bathroom a modern take on an Art Deco vibe.

Beautiful, High quality, Stainless finish is AWFUL!!!!
We have these Ashlyn fixtures through our ENTIRE house. Six bathroom sinks, two tub/shower combos, one soaker tub, and separate shower. Our builder told us the stainless finish was similar to the "brushed" finishes, and would be the most practical with our young children. WRONG!!! The Stainless finish is exactly like the old-school stainless appliances.....any touch of a finger or drop of water leaves a mark. We have soft water, so it's not that. It's just the nature of brushed stainless. I have tried every kind of polish/protectant I can think of, and nothing helps. After cleaning, with the first touch of a finger, the handle looks smudged and dirty again. We are now faced with the decision to shell out $$$$$ to replace with the chrome version, or live with filthy looking fixtures.
The fixtures are high quality, and very stylish though. I would highly recommend the Ashlyn series, just STAY AWAY from the stainless, unless you can train your children and guests to wipe the faucet after literally every use......

I am looking at Ashlyn center set bathroom centerset faucet.Can the 2564-MPU-DST be used with or with out excusion plate? I was also looking at the 25
64-TP-DST without excusion plate.I am not sure which one I need or will work.Can I find the measurements on them?I will be ordering on line so really can,t look to see how they will fit. Thank You PS also looking at dual function head&hand held shower package.
Thank you for your question, Jack. This faucet cannot be installed without the base. The model 3564-MPU-DST can be installed on a 4 1/2" to 16" installation.
