I’m done. Too bad I have 3 sets of faucets already! Disappointed in Delta quality on the Ashlyn towel bars. Trying to find something else to coordinate so still no towel bars in my new 2 bathroom remodel.

Can I shorten the towel bar rod

Can I cut down the towel bar rod? Any suggestions on how to?

Hello Clyde, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Ashlyn 24" Towel Bar and I am happy to assist you today. While this towel bar can be shortened, we do not recommend modifying our towel bars as this will void the warranty for the model and we cannot recommend any tools which can be used to do so. Unfortunately, at this time we do not carry replacement bars if a mis-cut is made, you will need to purchase and a brand new model to replace the bar. What is the Ashlyn towel bar and coordinating bath accessories made of? Is the underlying metal brass, aluminum or another metal?

I have the Ashlyn series going into the master bath, and would like to install the 24" towel bar inside the shower - can I do that? the shower is open at the top

Is it possible to purchase just the dowel? Not the end pieces?
